The predicted a "new beginning."

There is a "celestial event" that happens every few thousand years.

They also predicted a black hole at the center of the galaxy.......which we now know is true.

Maybe I watch too many movies

but wasn't the Mayans the ones that chopped off captives heads to the rain gods, after they pulled out there hearts in front of them?  They were crazy!
