I remember when the auto industry was forced by law in 1975 to add catalytic converters to all vehicles.  For those that don’t know, these were added to our vehicles to convert CO emissions to CO2.  Because back then, according to the environmentalists, our CO emissions were reportedly causing “Global Freezing”.  Converting our emissions would “solve the problem”.  Well, I guess it did, because now, our CO2 emissions are causing “Global Warming”.  I’ve facetiously have stated previously, why don’t we just convert back and forth every 40 years from CO emissions to CO2 emissions?  Would that not balance the “Global Freezing” caused by CO and the “Global Warming” caused by CO2?

So here is the real question...  Do any of us stay current with conflicting information coming out, or are we completely closed minded and have our minds completely made up?  The Cap and Trade bill will throw billions of dollars at what, different catalytic converters?  Will it really have an impact to the environment?  Or is it just another way to reach into my back pocket and extract yet more “tax dollars”?

Can they pass a bill to “Cap my Tax”?  Or are we to endure yet another “tax and spend”?

are in place in Europe. China and India is coming on board for their own good reasons. So the argument of business moving overseas may not hold in the long term.

But, we don't really care what others do. We are only concerned about about our own selfish myopic ideas and reasoning. Let us consume more and more and become gluttons of the world.

After all, we have the best Health Care in the world so, no worries!
