You miss the point, which is you can't judge a parent by the kid.  Which was the entire point of your post - namely, the kid had a child out of wedlock, therefore Sarah is somehow bad.

I took no position on the parent because the kid turned out "bad." Just pointed out that you can't jugde parents by what their kids do.

But, just as an exercise in futility, what you have done is a classic "reductio ad absurdem."  Hint: a parent does not have to have "complete control of their kids" in order to have some level of responsibility over how they turn out.  Palin has now had two kids who have not lived up to her self-professed "family values" shtick and it is perfectly legitimate to wonder if poor parenting was part of the reason.  For you to give her a pass on this, for what I believe are partisan reasons, is complete hypocrisy.
