So I ask. Where is the march against radical Islam? Where is the million Muslim march that stands in solidarity against people that have hijacked their religion?
Is it forming as I write this? Are liberals going to speak out en masse, march and shout down a religion, that in most parts of the world, condemns homosexuality and throws gays off rooftops?
That treats women like second class citizens where a woman needs 4 male witnesses to find her rapist guilty?
That believes in honor killings and genital mutilation? That believes death is the suitable punishment for apostasy?
I was always under the impression that liberals spoke out strongly when misogyny, homophobia or injustice rears its ugly head. Am I wrong?
And yet, outside of a few Bill Maher types, liberals DEFEND Islam while they feel so free to trash Christianity on a regular basis.
One would think that liberals and "moderate" Muslims would be able to plan one helluva large rally around the globe to thwart such a backward and evil ideology.
Any sane person would have to acknowledge that Islam needs massive reform but we are knee deep in hysteria over an R president trying to protect its citizens from mass terrorism at the moment.
Is the march against Islamists on its way? Will it ever happen? Am I insane for trying to hold liberals to values they tell me are so dear to them?

they get all excited and they can still get their check up at a clinic on a sliding scale if they can't afford to see a doctor. They have qualified nurse practitioner's that can manage many diseases. And those in the health care know even more emergency programs; like our Emory hospital in Atlanta is a learning hospital and has charities that will cover surgeries with approval. I know 2 people that used that resource. One broke his back and was airlifted to Emory Trauma hospital and a charity paid the bill. The other had a motorcycle wreck and broke his leg in several places. He was in agonizing pain and his local hospital sent him home like that with about 20 Percocet's. I participated in a GoFundMe but it wasn't enough to get his surgery. He needed 10k. He was stuck at home a month with his leg setting like that and he had no medicine to touch the pain. He couldn't sleep, and his body was spasming from pain.. I drove him to Emory hospital and he went in on a walker and pleaded for help to stop the pain. They done it!
Nobody's taking the birth control pills away, the Medicaid to have a baby, the wic to feed the baby. Chill the fuck out crazy women! You can cross a picket line of protestors in Atlanta right now and get an abortion if that's your choice. pretty sure nobodies down with money being made of deceased fetuses though.

I have no idea why you mentioned the right re: a pro-life march. The right speaks out agains Islamists all the time.
It is liberals, for some bizarre reason, that feel the need to defend Islam.
Can you tell me how an ideology like liberalism, that claims homophobia and misogyny are so terrible, which they are, also feels the need to WK for a religion that practices homophobia and misogyny on a wide spread daily basis in so many Muslim countries?

Radical Islam isn't practiced here in the States at all - with minute minute exceptions. Muslims who are now living in the States aren't radical Islams - they practice American laws.
What Muslims do/practice in Iran, India etc. is not something we can control or even influence here.
Of course we don't agree with many of their positions, but, we can't govern Iran, India etc.
I have several Muslims working for me from India and I work closely with a large tech company - I can't say who, but it's a 3 character name that begins with an "I" and sends with an "M." This company has multiple Muslims at high and very high levels. None of these Muslims practice radical Islam. As Trump would say "believe me!"

But, I do not believe you are right in putting Iran and India in the same category. India is a secular democracy and Muslims coming from that secular background are not likely to have the same radical religious philosophy as those coming from countries like Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Iran, etc.

This recent situation isn't even about deportations. I DID in an earlier post say that persons here illegally (specifically students that have violated their visa) should be deported. Is that what you are alluding to?
