I think Romney was just trying to get through this. At least that's the way it looked.

These series of debates have been the best Presidential debates of my lifetime. Far more intellectually satisfying than the bumpersticker bore fests that was Bush/Kerry. These guys put a ton of work into them, and as a politics junkie, you have to give both Obama and Romney a ton of credit for that.

It's almost a shame that Romney is going to lose because it's obvious to me that he's the brightest Presidential candidate the Republican party has produced since the days of Richard Nixon. One of the biggest threats to our nation is that the GOP has continued to push dumb-shits like Bush and Palin who have no business in public office.

In a nation that has a 2 party system, it causes our nation great harm when one of those parties are run by the functionally retarded.

At least this time around, the GOP chose a guy, who while he may have issues with honesty, at least is smart enough not to be a nation-wide embarrassment.
