...and deserting the sinking ship AKA the SS Thin Blue Line.

The two are brand new cops, not yet indoctrinated into the "close ranks and lie your ass off to protect your fellow cops" fraternity.  Kueng hadn’t yet completed his third full shift as a police officer when the deadly arrest occurred.  He allegedly told his fellow officers as they were detaining Floyd: "You shouldn’t do that."

Lane was also new to the job, only on the force for four days when the incident occurred.  He allegedly twice asked Chauvin, a training officer, "Shall we roll him over?" He also expressed concern that Floyd may be in "delirium."

Did you get that?  CHAUVIN WAS A FUCKING TRAINING OFFICER!!!!  That's how the rookies learn to be assholes.  They learn it from their training officers.  Spoiler alert - Chauvin should have ended up a long time ago just like Denzel did in "Training Day."

They hired this guy, he has numerous complaints, and they allowed him to train? Holy shit.

Liberals say this is a systemic problem. But ask yourself this Laff. Who the fuck is running the system????

Theres a reason Denzel won that year.  Fictional account based on actual cases.  The only reason to be a cop is the fringe benefits.  Otherwise who the fuck would be a cop.  Who is going to get in the shit muck of society to keep it relatively safe and in order.   The cop code is great for a free cup of coffee or a break on a fridge purchase.  I personally don't care if they skim a bit from a busted drug buy.  They earn it.  But no, it should not apply to murder and I'm glad there are some cops who still know that and are brave enough to speak up about it.

As if that has anything to do with civil service hiring?  Dude, take the needle out, you've got way too much of that shit in you and you should come back down to reality.  You are not alone.  We are all here for you brother.  Just don't die.

It wasn't a righty. You either believe it is a systemic problem, or you believe as I do, there are a few bad apples in every bunch.

But if you do believe it's systemic, who is running the system? It's VERY liberal Democrats, is it not?

Why run from that obvious fact Jinx?

This should get the AG (not DA) over the hump to get Murder Two charges to stick, and these two cops are much more deserving to receive a deal than the fourth cop Thao, who had a very checkered past himself as a LE officer.

Chauvin deserves decades in prison, or a few hours in gen pop. A couple of rookies placed in an impossible position deserve some mercy. Although I would not necessarily say that "bravery" is the reason these two rookies are willing to tell the truth. I would chalk it up much more to self preservation than bravery, and I bet you the AG made it a "first one to make a deal gets the deal" choice to them.

...NINETEEN YEARS is plenty of time to learn how to be an asshole cop.  Just as his rooks were learning from him, he learned from his FTO and all his senior partners who indoctrinated him over the years.

"Hired by libs" - that's a feeble argument, even for you.
