Why not address it the China Virus at the beginning, like in Dec/Jan? Why call it the China Virus now,, or in the last week??
My guess is that he was losing the message on this virus, how he's fucked it up soooooooo bad. He needed a foe, so this China Virus is his new foe. It's not invisible now, he has a face on it.

There was some Bernie spokesweasel on Fox News the other day claiming it was racist to say Wuhan Flu and that scientists used non-racist technical names for such outbreaks.  The Fox News babe asked the spokesweasel if she knew what MERS stood for in that 2012 outbreak.  Spokesweasel looked blank and said no.  Fox News babe said  "Middle East Respiratory Syndrome."

They DID call it the "Chinese" or "Wuhan" Virus from day one, as did the lib media. It was only when China and a bunch of super soft liberal snowflakes called it RACIST! did the media start changing their tune.

But I did see it, wow the Wuhan Virus. That's all I hear. Now I know why they called it the China Virus now. How many fucking dump trump rednecks even know of Wuhan or where it's at?? They couldn't call it that....name doesn't resonate. No race no face...no FOE.

As far as giving this a name, he/Fox News can call it whatever he wants, I'm too easy going to sweat this out....At yesterday's briefing, he called it "The Virus". Not the China Virus, he called it "The Virus". Then he praised the Asian community. It' like someone slapped him upside his dumb ass  head and told him, "WTF are you doing?"
And your battles with racism, I get it. Growing up in East LA, then moving to White Middle Class area, I lived  with the "Changes". From School to just the whole social scene. It had it's good and it's......bad.

As for me, I used to live in Dallas, but I have lived in "redneckville" for the last four years, and I routinely travel and do business in towns of a few hundred people total population, NONE of them with slanted eyes. lol The "big towns" have 5-10,000 people. Yes, I sometimes "get the look" but nowhere near as often as I did ten years ago, and never has anyone made a single comment, either out loud to my face, or even under their breath, that I or "my people" are responsible for the Chink Virus.
