McCain did not seem presidential

I watched the debates and felt that both performed very well.  I was a bit offended by John McCain's facial expressions and condescending tone.  I felt that he really came off like an arrogant, condescending asshole.  Did anyone else feel this way?

I remember seeing two unrelated clips of McCain where this overt display of condescending tenor was shown and I was VERY surprised to see him show it tonight.  He has no respect and I find that totally offensive, he was trying not to say "N****R" while Obama was talking.  I hail from a part of the country that believes this bullshit of lawyers, guns and money (and it’s cool to field dress a moose) - I know how people look just before they are going to utter that phrase- he was holding back.  Why didn’t he just call him “boy”?

Besides his typical talking points, OMG can I just say JOHN, JOHN, JOHN- I am SO bored with your repetitive horseshit.  Let's hear something else...no more about a bracelet, or Ms. Congeniality or Maverick.  I am ready to PUKE.

I didn’t hear any real info and/or plans from McCain.  Nothing was clear and more of the blatant lies that have defined the Republican Party’s campaign tactics.

This is why I like Obama- granted he is not as experienced as I would like BUT I would rather have a bright, thoughtful and prudent individual who is willing to take all things into consideration and act accordingly AND change course when new data becomes available.  Not a man who has zero respect for anyone that disagrees with him and will say ANYTHING to pander for his party.  It is shameful.

McCain is so disrespectful it is disgusting.  He can’t even make eye contact.  How can someone vote for a man that can’t answer a question, and has such distain for anyone who disagrees with him?  Doesn’t that remind you of GW?

What proof do you have that McCain is a racist?   Do you know anything about Obama's voting record?  You should look into Obama's time in Chicago and the people that supported him and that he associated with.  They're very very corrupt.

I agree with you on the point you made about McCain being like Bush.  McCain always seems to turn the other cheek and doesn't fight back---just like Bush.

You want to see some real disgusting disrespectful people?    Take a look at Chris Dodd, Barney Frank, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and Chuck Schumer.  If you don't know who they are, Google them.

I forgot to add this so I'll add it now.  Today, they told McCain to "get out of town."  They blamed everything on McCain.  All the dems are pretty disgusting.

I don’t need proof of racism for it to be apparent to me.  That is the problem with subtle racism- it is done in such a way, as to not be overt and therefore goes unchecked.  As I originally posted, it isn’t the first time I’ve seen this smug condescension from McCain.  If I hadn’t noticed it before, it probably wouldn’t even have crossed my mind.

What do Obama's voting record and his “time in Chicago” have to do with McCain's total lack of respect and rancor during the debate?

Bush turns the other cheek?  LMFAO- ummm ok.  Where have you been?  I guess living under a proverbial GOP rock.

Google them?  Why not just say...you just don't understand?  Your post has just the sort of insulting tone that McCain’s debate did but I know that was your intention.  What do a handful of senators, a congressman and a house speaker have to do with my point about McCain?  This is a PRESIDENTIAL election- last time I checked.  Wait- let me google it.

They told McCain to get out because his grandstanding was causing more harm than good; after he announced that the "fundamentals" are OK- I don't think I'd call McCain an economist.  You can champion that hail-mary nonsense but in my mind, and judging from the reaction of Independent voters, it is total BS.

If you don't at least realize the trait you lose perspective and you lose the ability to recognize reality.

You can tell if someone's racist by their body language? Or do you read his thoughts? All this when his words and actions offer absolutely ZERO supporting evidence to your 'theory'?

"They told McCain to get out because his grandstanding was causing more harm than good"

You can't realize that Reid’s statement was NOT a 100% politically motivated statement? Are you REALLY suggesting that one or more members of the Congress be EXCLUDED from participating in LEGISLATION negotiations? That’s LUDICROUS.

Do you realize that if the Dems were serious, they COULD pass whatever they wanted (short of a Senate filibuster).

Reid was effectively saying, ‘Some Republicans don’t agree with us and we can’t get what we want.' Oh BOO HOO.

get your head out of Obama's ass.
If I didn't know you were white, I would swear you are an angry black female.
Why do you hate your own race?

I am out of town for a family emergency and I log in to read this...one of the most ignorant things I've ever seen.

Why is it, if a WHITE person recognizes the bigotry then somehow we "hate" our own race?  I am part of the HUMAN race, the fact that you point to "my race" shows your true colors and how you feel about color.

Obama is not black enough to be called that it would have to be high yellow :)
