Where I disagree with you is that I don't think anyone on Obama's team is looking to make Obama look less fairy-like by invoking terrorism. If they were, then they'd have to be smoking shit a lot stronger than I'm inclined to.

Terrorism isn't a field where Democrats would come out in a favorable light. The national discourse, regardless of it's accuracy, is that Republicans know what they're doing when it comes to terrorism, and Democrats do not.

Stirring up the terrorism pot wouldn't be a win for Dems. It would more likely be a big loss, especially if there's a successful staged incident.

I'd be willing to bet that it's more likely that elements within our intelligence bureaucracies are trying to produce election results that are more to their liking.

Don't worry about him.  He is living a luxurious life in Waziristan in Pakistan thanks to your tax payer dollars given to Pakistan.   He guides their CIA counterpart, ISI how to use your tax payer dollars to fund, train and arm the Taliban to fight your soldiers in Afghanistan.

You can fight in Afghanistan for another 10 years and two more Presidents, nothing will change.
