You realize Halsey got lucky at Leyte Gulf, went off on a wild goose chase, and left the invasion fleet exposed... but, thank God for Taffy 3!!!

the little yellow fellows that started the f-ing thing. They're lucky the US didn't drop ten more after all the shit they caused. Better yet they're lucky the US didn't take away all their means to defend themselves and then ship a bunch of Chinese to their Islands so they could even the score on all the rape and mass murder.

They only had two.  One was to drop on Japan the other was for Germany.
VE day came before the bombs were ready.  So Japan got both of them.
They could have built more, but we would have invaded before they could be ready.

The claim that Japan attacked the United States without provocation was . . . typical rhetoric. It worked because the public did not know that the administration had expected Japan to respond with war to anti-Japanese measures it had taken in July 1941. . . . Expecting to lose a war with the United States—and lose it disastrously—Japan's leaders had tried with growing desperation to negotiate. On this point, most historians have long agreed. Meanwhile, evidence has come out that Roosevelt and Hull persistently refused to negotiate. . . . Japan . . . offered compromises and concessions, which the United States countered with increasing demands. . . . It was after learning of Japan's decision to go to war with the United States if the talks "break down" that Roosevelt decided to break them off. . . . According to Attorney General Francis Biddle, Roosevelt said he hoped for an "incident" in the Pacific to bring the United States into the European war.

Only a few people are left that remember WW2.

To most it is only history.

Children were taught in school  Emperor Showa was a divine leader . To give their life for him was the greatest honor someone could attain .
I don't blame the Japanese people , I fault their masters of propaganda .

Bush waged two unfunded wars, gave us a Medicare prescription drug plan that was never paid for and introduced tax cuts that benefited the top 10%. The bottom 80% received a tiny tax cut.

That war costs us 500,000 and the world 50,000,000 and leftards don't say boo.
