But the case most commonly cited in schools is the Sears Auto Center's violation of the Auto Repair Act. Attached is a book chapter from Harvard Business School about the research on work quotas and ethics. If you have quotas in ANY business, it'll likely lead to people doin' dirty work. I lean right. But I no longer trust anything the government puts out. We have NO IDEA what the economic numbers are. People do not even trust the reported earnings of the 'Melania' movie. But we all eat every day (hopefully 😕).
I'm a Black woman. There have been COUNTLESS articles about why Black people haven't really shown up for No Kings rallies. Personally, I have been on DJT's side during most of the other protests.
But this one is going to be different. The government shutdowns have led to people going without food. The ICE brutality. The censorship. The meddling in elections. ICE agents being paid by quotas or not at all... And the Trump-Epstein files! People have a lil bit more that they're thinking about now. If we make it to March 29 without a massive international war raging, then it will be interesting to see the demographics of the protesters. I'm curious. I could go either way.

The MAJORITY in both houses support funding the bill Trump wants. Schumer is leading the minority, but unfortunately, it takes 60 votes. The Senators from Purple States whose seats are in play this year will start to feel the heat soon, just like last time. Fetterman is the most reasonable Democrat in the room. He knows they are shooting themselves in the foot with another shutdown.
AND, ICE isn't even affected, its TSA and FEMA taking the brunt of the spending freeze, both agencies that most Americans, regardless of political affiliation depend on to stay open.

You are both correct. It is both sides' fault that this is all going down. But I get all my intel from the employees.
In order to get out of the Army, you have to take this class to help you get a job, etc. And all the Federal agencies come through to try to recruit. I almost became a Border Patrol agent until I found out it was more dangerous than being in the Army! And there was no ICE when I got out. BUT, I have girlfriends who work for both agencies. They've always been more bad-ass than me..
Anyhow, so tell me why, ICE can send you anywhere, but YOU have to pay to get there yourself! Plus, you have to arrest 6-8 people a day. The arrests don't have to stand, but there's an arrest quota. I have some true MAGA friends who are dedicated. Then I have others who are pissed. But when I say things about the Border Patrol or ICE, I'm usually repeating what I heard from a direct employee.
But we can ALL agree that it is messed up to play with people's livelihoods! I blame both sides right now and don't have a dog in the fight. But as the President and Commander-in-Chief, it is ultimately Trump's fault. To be fair, I was still on active duty in 2013, and I blamed Obama for that shutdown too. It didn't stop our pay, but it stopped all of our money. I was in Louisiana at the time. So, we couldn't get gas in our vehicles. We couldn't do anything. We just showed up to work every day and did nothing... They wouldn't let us use our phones or play cards. But they did allow us to read. So, it was kinda like a stay-cation for me. BUT we had to be in full uniform, and my office was overheated. They wouldn't let us take off our blouses. Which I thought was bullshit. But that was really my only complaint.

Is the "quota" thing actually REAL. Reason why is Quota's in law enforcement is ILLEGAL. There are 20 States that have laws against quotas. When doing enforcement in those states it makes them illegal even at the federal level.

So, their attorneys are saying one thing, and the actual employees are LYING off the record to their friends and families? Their identities are protected, so prove me wrong. Again, from ACTUAL AGENTS, I was told that they have to arrest 6-8 people in 12 hours. But they're probably lying off the record, like everyone on social media is saying... Again, ICE agents are people. They have friends. They have opinions. Trump is counting on REAL people to stay with him.
I have one friend who is MAGAFIED! She supports the quota and is like, "We have to get the Biden illegals OUT," and I'm with her. But I have two other friends (who refuse to travel during the "partial-shutdown") who are looking for new jobs because they think the quota is BS. One girl is arresting drug dealers that she knows from her old neighborhood, even though she knows they're US citizens. So, they get arrested, taken by ICE, found to be in possession of drugs, get a drug charge, get transferred to county jail, get bailed out the next day, hire an attorney who says the search wasn't legal, and all charges get dismissed. BUT they lose the drugs they had on them, and they have to pay for an attorney and spend a night in jail. PLUS the taxpayers get to pay for all of this dance. But, they shouldn't be out there selling drugs so.. What can they say? That's how she looks at it to keep her numbers good. And I think she's smart. She's always been a clever girl. But why did she move back home? I'll NEVER know! That's another story for another post.
What I have seen coming out of hearings is that lack of training that is/was happening for new recruits. What you described isn't "quota" it is lack of training and using illegal measures. Which if that is the case... .fired, reprimanded, and possibly charges brought up on those officers (if there is a crime).
Like I stated in many states "quota's" are illegal. YES federal government needs to abide by these rules in those states.
