Life is good

I too have the tendency to get mad at little things.  I remind myself that if I am upset because of something on the level of having to replace color cartridges, my life is so good.  Maybe too good

During the Christmas UPS screw-up, with Congress threatening action against UPS for screwing up some deliveries, I thought that life is so good for us if it is a national scandal that someone did not get his Cristmas present on time and it came the 26th instead of the 24th.

I once met a refugee from the Sudan who had a family member killed by a lion when they were crossing the desert to get to safety from warning tribes.  On a bad day he had to change printer cartridges from a NAZI company.

Years ago, I had a friend with a disease that slowly makes it impossible to do anything physically.  I used to go to her house, carry her to my car, carry her into the cafe we used to go to so she could see friends.  It was getting to the point where she could not lift her coffee cup and had to use a straw.

One day I told her, "Monica, some people have terrible luck. You don't know how bad it is for some people.  My AFT dance partner is leaving L.A. to go home to Ohio and I have to find a new dance partner."

Luckily Monica had  a sense of humor.  She said she felt bad for me

...printer and I wanted to photocopy a black and white document.  I pushed "black copy" but the stupid printer wouldn't let me make it unless I replaced the COLOR toner cartridges.  WTF?!?!

I'm going to find out where Hewlett and Packard are buried and spit on their graves.

Isn't it nice how not only obsolescence but continuous expenses are built into near everything these days.

If I was to faithfully follow the advised service schedule given with my BMW motorcycle I could effectively buy a second one in 5 years of ownership with the money required

it isn't an economic issue, it is a diversity issue.  Your printer does not want you to be exclusionary by leaving out "other colors".  You must be sensitive to its feelings.

doesn't make this a political post, unless you're alluding to what Voyager is talking about!   ;)

...want to make a goddamn B&W copy, I shouldn't have to change the color cartridges.  Why doesn't Obama issue an executive order banning that practice?  It must be covered under some goddamn Constitutional amendment.

"Black and white photocopies, being necessary to conduct business, the right of the people to make black and white photocopies without changing the color cartridges shall not be infringed."

Blind crowds following a road to nowhere were Hitler's route  to fame  .

I'm a proud member of the Resistance , always researching before I lease or buy .
not falling for commercial hype .

I was going to say you must have more money than brains  ,  but
then I thought  , I must be wrong about your riches  , why would someone with  deep pockets buy an
HP printer or PC ?   :-D

Like Hitler's blind followers your own vision led you to the wrong path .
