and libs REALLY don't like to get hit back
they cry, howl, moan . . . . it's UNFAIR! NEVER realizing that they started the fight payback is a bitch and it's payback time...it is a fact that Trump is President, and with that will come some interesting things. For one thing, John Lewis and his fellow democrats who boycotted the Presidential inauguration currently may be enjoying their moment in the sun; but I think there are rain clouds down the line for them. Trump doesn't take kindly to those people who insult him and he has a long memory. Just wait until federal monies for infrastructure projects never make it to John Lewis' congressional district nor to those of his knee jerk cronies. Who then will be crying the blues? Of course, Lewis and his other like thinking politicians probably won't be directly affected. They have their homes in Washington and no doubt live in the nicest areas of their districts; rather it will be their constituents who will lose out. A moment of glory is just that - a "moment".

i'm gonna get out the popcorn and single-malt

It's good to see the MSM and Sen Lindsey Graham R-SC starting to call Trump out on his lies. Trump has already made it clear he hates the "dishonest" media. The feeling is clearly reciprocal. Trump's strategy here is clearly going to be to keep saying that you can't trust the MSM. It is worth noting that we are only 4 days into Trump's administration, early in the "honeymoon" period. If it is starting out like this, once the honeymoon is over, things may get rougher. I keep saying this, but the MSM built up Trump and it will be the MSM that will destroy him.
New York Times: Trump Repeats Lie About Popular Vote in Meeting With Lawmakers.
Washington Post: Without evidence, Trump tells lawmakers 3 million to 5 million illegal ballots cost him the popular vote
Chicago Tribune: Trump falsely tells congressional leaders that millions of illegal ballots cost him popular vote

AP: Trump's bridge-building eclipsed by false voter fraud claim

So no one cares about Trump's feelings.
He will be exposed even more in the future about his Russian ties.

...if you're telling me to go fuck myself or not. Since there's no comma behind my name in your subject bar indicating a salutation, I am led to believe that what you are saying is that I, together with "President puppet and Putin" can go fuck ourselves. Is this correct?
Yeah, there may be rain clouds down the line for anyone who openly disagrees with Trump. In fact, there may be rainclouds down the line for anyone (politician, press, or public citizen) who dares to (try to) publish factual information that runs counter to trumps delusional narrative.
It looks like all of us are gonna be taking long a ride on the Kelly Ann Conwoman alternative facts train.
trumps war on the press (war on reality, actually) is relentless. I agree that when the press is incorrect, it should be called-out for a retraction. And, hey, sometimes even the big institutional press outlets get it wrong. And they do get called on it (as they should). And, they are forced to back it up and correct. I would hope all Americans care enough about free press + accurate reporting of facts to be vigilant in continuously questioning (and supporting) a free press.
But, (disregarding, for the moment, the monumental whoppers trump promoted while campaigning), trump continues to stand up in front of every American citizen, and look all of us right in the eye, and LIE_HIS_FUCKING_ASS_OFF (or send Sean to do it for him). He does this over and over again. His tendency towards seeking ‘vengence’ against his detractors is a characteristic he makes no effort to hide. Everything for trump is a zero sum game, and actual facts are irrelevant (or, umm…alternative?).
To his credit, he is a master of marketing. He understands how to manipulate the masses on television and twitter and, yes, he has succeeded in taking his own Barnum and Bailey reality show to the White House.
But, what he will NEVER, EVER achieve, *if* he continues down his current path, is a lessening of the increasingly divided, and dangerously divisive, nature of the US. Whether you like the reality of it, or not, trump absolutely does NOT have a mandate. Yes, he won the EC (barely). Problem is: the MAJORITY of ACTUAL people in the US who did not vote for him will never be swayed to come over to his camp unless, or until, he makes some (jesus ‘effin christ, any) genuine attempt to NOT continue to behave as if he is completely bat-shit-crazy. And, that possibility is looking increasingly remote.
Yes--- there is going to be an upward trend of buyer’s remorse from lots of the folks in ‘middle america’ who voted for him.
Most, outside of the elite liberal bubble in the MSM, Hollyweird and upscale leftist circles will give two shits about any of Trumps lies if the economy improves, jobs come back and wages rise. If they do not, thats when buyers remorse may happen, not until then plants.
People, including myself, keep underestimating Trump:
"He won't run for president."
"He won't file the necessary paperwork."
"He cant win the Republican nomination."
"He cant beat the Republican establishment."
"He cant beat Hillary."
"He can't break through her blue wall."
So keep telling us what he can't do. Because every time someone says he cant do something, he goes ahead and does it.
...I'm not going to tell you the things he can't do, only things he is wrong about & that includes nearly every action he's taken since last Friday, oh & by the way it's his stupid economic decisions that will put more money in the pockets of the wealthy that are an assurance that it will never (trickle down) to the people actually doing the work.
...A typical way by those in power in American government to attempt to control the opposition, (if you say or do anything I don't like your constituents will suffer for it). Trump did not start this & at this early point there is no evidence that I know of him using it, this horsecrap kind of dealing has been part of Americas governance for many years & when it works for those in power theirs is the only message that we hear.
Wrong to take a stance that suits a blackmailer.
