A US citizen going to a foreign country and criticizing the US...

Who?

Bill Clinton, Jane Fonda and others... but hey, that is just me.

British VMA host Russell Brand encouraged the audience to vote for Barack Obama after “8 years of President Bush”. Then, to keep it “fair and balanced”, Brand made crude jokes about Sarah Palin, her family, and Bristol Palin, Sarah’s pregnant daughter.

Keep it up, MTV. The more Hollywood movie and music stars that support Barack Obama, the more Americans will resent him.

Also, Russell Brand is a perfect proponent for Barack Obama. Brand is consistently strung out on heroin, as well as high on crack. Great endorsement, Russell! Do you really think that the American people are that stupid? Do you really think that we'll listen to what the media and Hollywood tell us on who to vote for (especially a Brit???)?

Russell Brand.  I try to keep the glorification of drugs and "strange, rude and hateful" hehavior at a minimum.

However, my son and I did enjoy the Cowboys, and the Eagles... and we are both holding our breath until next Monday night....  for the continuing saga of the Eagles vs the Cowboys... subtitle - the revence of TO!????  lol!

it's important to understand that the demographics for this show is probably concentrated in the 18-25 age range. Contrary to Obama's need to get out the youth vote, well let's just say it hasn't happened before, and it won't happen this year. Do I have any facts to validate this position? Nope, just good old anecdotal evidence from my 2 college age kids. They will vote, but just laughed at me when I asked them about whether college age kids will get out and vote. They are focused on attending classes, drinking vodka, and probably forgot, or couldn't care about filling out an absentee ballot.

If Democrats really got their constituents to vote en masse, they would win every election.

is anyone bothered by the basic problem of ANY non-US citizen making a political endorsement about a US electoral contest, tongue-in-cheek [or spike-in-vein as this case may be?] drugged-out Brit poofter or otherwise?  idf this keeps up, the US will have to invade other countries and forcibly change theur form of gov't.  hope it never comes to that!

Guess that happens when you are the most dominate country in the world. Do I give a shit what a Brit, French, German, other European thinks? No, not really. Unlike the liberals, I don't want the U.S. to emulate the Europeans.

As long as we don't give them a vote in what happens in our country they are entitled to their opinion and just as entitled to voice said opinion.

Do I give their opinion any credence? that would be a HELL NO, but I respect their right to express whatever idiotic beliefs they care to share with us.

I do find it ironic that the "tolerant, pro 1st ammendment left wingers" are the first ones trying to shout down free speech. It makes one wonder, what are they afraid of?

a cage match with Margaret Thatcher.  I bet even in her current condition she could still kick his ass.
