Left wing protestors in Pittsburgh were throwing rocks at the police, dragging trash cans into the street to block traffic, and smashing windows with bricks and rocks.  

Makes one yearn for the days when those wacky Tea Parties were taking to the streets, picking up their own trash after demonstrations.

Funny, how Pelosi was so afraid of the possibility of violence from the tenor of the political debate, and sure enough, she was right.  If she had been looking the other way, she would have seen the historical pattern and could have been more accurate in her predictions.

when you have thousands of crazy people, many of them claiming they believe the president is a "secret Muslim" that was born in another country gathering together, it scares me not only as an American, but as a human being.

the fact that John Mccain had to tell them to respect the president (which got him BOO'd!) tells me that this country is still full of crazy racist whackjobs that will use any excuse to try to kling to the things that make them feel safe, their guns and their bibles.

Yeah, you have some people with stupid idea.  And there are none on the left with equally stupid ideas?

You latch on to the extreme and project that on the majority.

One side has a demonstartion with people giving speeches. They clean up their trash, and go home, having made their point.

The other side has a demonstartion. Rocks are thrown, garbage cans are tossed in the street, cops have things thrown at them, windows are smashed, and the city is on high alert because of concerns of violence.

And you are concerned about the "right wing crazies?"

One side is peaceful and quiet. The other side is violent and riots.  And you fear the peaceful.

SO WHAT THAT MCCAIN SAID TO RESPECT THE PRESIDENT. DID ANY SPEAKER AT RALLIES IN THE LAST 8 YEARS SUGGEST THAT. If they had suggested that at a left wing rally in 2007, they would not have been booed. They would have been tarred and feathered and run out of town on a rail.
