Turns out Kamala was going to go on Joe Rogan. But staff backlash from progressives and fear of national progressive backlash led to an end of negotiations.

Nate Silver:
I'm stealing this line from someone else. But while I'm not sure if Trump deserved to win, Democrats definitely deserved to lose.
Patrick Ruffini:
I now understand better why Trump is the popular vote winner.

The left is tied to it’s cray cray and I bet it won’t let go!

Literally their entire campaign staff were ugly know nothing women in their early 20’s and gay dudes. When James Carville called them out of touch faggots he wasn’t kidding.

He said this morning that she started dictating certain topics as being off limits, and Rogan would not agree to that.  Rogan wanted to ask her about her time as prosecutor, and she said that is a topic she will not discuss. I think she knew her own record, that 90% of the men she sent to prison were black.  At the time, she was trying to persuade black men to vote for her.

Both of those stories could be true at the same time. Very interesting that she wanted to put her time as a prosecutor off limits.

Her time as a prosecutor was almost buried . During the 2020 debates Tulsi Gabbard seemed to know more than the press ever reported. Her entire career has failing upward!

Going on Rogan would have been a disaster.  Unlike Willie's willy, Kamala never kissed the Blarney Stone.  I am not talking about her IQ (though that could be part of it.)  She just doesn't have verbal spontaneity.  A three hour interview would be excruciating. There is no way they would let that happen.  Hence the need to cause it not to occur by whatever excuse necessary.

Agree 100% that Kamala Kneepads would have never been able to handle a 3 hour interview with Rogan--not a snowball's chance in hell!!

I'm not going to look it up but didn't some analysts think that Clinton should have done a Howard Stern interview in 2016?
.
Maybe in 2028, nominees will start posting to TER P&R.

As much as I think Hillary is a scummy person, at least she seemed to be competent. She could say a lot of cringy things, But I am sure she could hold her own in a three hour long form interview.
