"But he does "see all", whether he change the channel or not doesn't change the fact that he can see all channels at the same time, past, present and future..."  Ben

So I must ask "Is God Everywhere....Omnipotent and Omnipresent?"

...But Scripture does not specify "looking through my eyes" as a way He operates...

You are blending the "creator" with his "creation" in your new-age/Oprah/The Secret statement and view expressed... Nothing wrong with that, except as a Christian, I hold "God" above his creation in spiritual order and significance...

(I'm not one of those creepy evangelicals  that thinks they must "win souls" at all cost... I believe that the only way anyone comes to God is when God call unto that person and they respond... I also do not believe he'll hold as guilty anyone he does not call unto and burn them in eternal torture for never making a decision that he never offered them to make...

"The Holy Spirit" is who calls unto the hearts of men and draws them unto God, not "the church"...

Often the church gets confused in it's mission and attempts to do the work of the Holy Spirit, by putting undo guilt upon the heathen, or by preaching "fire and brimstone" to scare people with eternal damnation into repentence, but it's WRONG, and makes for a very fucked up view of Christianity...

All Christians were asked to do was to "proclaim the Gospel in all the earth"... Not make converts!

"The Gospel" is only the first 4 books of the New Testament... nothing more... The rest of the Old and New Testament books are good books and contain a lot of great teaching, but were not commissioned by God a  the work of the church to be "proclaimed"

And that is where all the trouble the Christians have is... It's in not understanding our "purpose"....

of that which could create "All Things".  The immensity involved with being plugged into 6 billion dramas simultaneously.  And that's only on this one planet. Imagine how many other planets or dimensions have vehicles capable of consciousness.  Contemplating the immensity behind the curtains; the immensity running this show, leaves one in both awe and Ohmmmmm.

What if one were to read the Scriptures from the view of Oneness instead of Separateness.....?

And I use his hemp-soap.... good stuff!

I find lots of common-ground with new-agers... infact, you'd really like the boundry-waters area I live in up here, it's an enclave of new-age/universal power thinkers... I just view it all through a Christian lens... You, me and the Hindus have much more incommon with eachother than any of us have with muslims, Southren Baptists, or Nazis...

They are more "yin", while we are more "yang"...

Are you sure we aren't  the only life in the universe... The Mormons think all those stars out there are new kingdoms waiting for their families to inhabit them them in the next life, lol!

The DMT explorers report back of altered-realities that feel very alien and self-contained.  Not some sort of freaked out nightmarish imaginary trip, but actual places.  I refer you to Cliff Pickover's writings:
http://sprott.physics.wisc.edu/pickover/pc/dmt.html

Here's a taste:  "Author Terence McKenna has used DMT and feels that, "Right here and now, one quanta away, there is raging a universe of active intelligence that is transhuman, hyperdimensional, and extremely alien... What is driving religious feeling today is a wish for contact with this other universe." The aliens seen while using DMT present themselves "with information that is not drawn from the personal history of the individual."

Perhaps they inhabit the temperal domain in space... until that time in Revelations in which they are "loosed" upon the earth??

(Or perhaps, not, but God acknowleged the existance of sentient beings apart from himself...)

Try for just one second to imagine this:

Imagine there's no heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today...

Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace...

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one

If there was no Heaven, no Hell, no God to judge me for the things I could do in secret and not get caught doing... AND I only lived for "today", I would take-by-force everthing I saw that appealed to my every lust and whim... The though of "peace" would never cross my mind!
