You people keep referring to what you all consider "the experts",  well I'm here to tell you  (IMHO,  of course)  the reason,  we, the people and this country are in such a quandary,  is because of  "the experts".

Just think about it for one minute,  our investments are devastated,  (I remember "the expert" Jim Cramer saying,  the day before Wachovia took a massive hit,  along with the other Banks,  their doing fine, buy,  buy, buy!!!!!!!).

Obesity is epidemic,  why,  we have all these so called "experts"  telling us,  "don't eat carbs,  you'll lose weight",  "eat low fat,  you'll lose weight",  "don't eat sugar,  you'll lose weight"  etc. etc.  America buys all this BS and has lost the ability to think for themselves,  or to at very least seek out the knowledge and find what works best for them instead of listening to and taking "the experts" words as The Holy Grail.

Test scores in America are in decline, why?  when  "the experts" say we have the best colleges in the world??????????

Medications,  heck that's the biggest fallacy of  "the expert"  out there.  How many of the popular drugs/chemicals have turned out to be totally ineffective and even dangerous to the point of death.  Of course, we all know there are a lot of them,  but do the so called "experts"  get called out.   Not on your life.   Why?  Because their "experts"?  NO,  because that is their job,  they are "experts"  LOL,  just like Doc is a "Doctor",  an Attorney is an attorney,  and they are not usually going to get "called out"  by their own it is called  Professional Courtesy,  and they all need their jobs.

So please,  just remember every time you post about some "so called expert",  there will always be an "expert" on the opposing end/side and we  the people need to take the time to look at both sides of any issue,  for without doing that you cannot intelligently execute your own opinion.

Remember,   for "the experts" it is just a J.O.B.  nothing more,  nothing less.

But because of the people who make these dumb asses to be experts, are out of touch with the modern world, refuses to believe science, stands up says that the earth is only 9,000 years of old and God created everything in 9 days (some idiot congressman actually said this in South Georgia while surrounded with Deer heads), have severe allergy to facts that doesn’t fit their purpose, and above all have given critical thinking to the so called experts. This is the reason the country is getting fucked leaf, right up and down.

No, Tax cuts to the wealthy never has proven to increase jobs, capital gains tax cut doesn’t have any incentive to invest in new industries or products when there is tax free low risk earnings to be had.

A country run by Oligarch’s and Plutocrats is spiraling downwards, not upwards.

"There is sufficiency for Mans Need but not for Mans Greed”. True as tall as the mountains and as deep as the ocean forever!!

You're right, so-called "experts" are in the business of selling their opinions. Whether they be pundits or college "PROFESS"ORS.

That's why you have to test your real world experience against "opinions".

Real world experience is where Romney has a huge lead over "Professor" Obama who has never run anything. His lack of real world experience explains why his policies are failing.

First,  let me say,  CONGRATULATIONS on losing 50 lbs.  That is AWESOME. Your experience of gathering data,  all of it, not just one piece because, had you just exercised without changing what went into your body,  yup,  you would have lost weight and gained it back  when you stopped,  had you JUST cut out carbs,  you would have gained it back when your brain said please,  I need carbs, and FWIW, carbs are the only source of energy the brain uses. So assembly of knowledge was what did it for you not just one "experts" idea of what you should do. Which begs my original thought, that which,   "experts" are wrong a good percentage of the time,  so it kind of burns my batoobie (my word)  when people keep putting up links to what some "expert" says,  instead of saying what it is they believe and the reason why. Because the bottom line is "their opinion"  is what's important not just the experts.  (can we and do we learn from them?  Of course,  when applied properly) BTW,  it does not have to be linguistically proficient to put your opinion out there,  just "your own" opinion because that is what is important,  not how it is delivered.

As for your opinion on Romney,  I totally am in agreement.  Romney can and will turn this economy around,  not because "he is great"  but because he will surround himself with great people who can deliver the goods.  (Obama only surrounds himself with "his friends" as far as I can tell)  He/Romney is not looking to be a big shot, a comedian, nor does he care to hobnob with Hollywood, he is a very humble man that can do the job IMHO,  and LOVES HIS COUNTRY.  And I do not feel the love of this country with our current President,  my feeling is he is taking advantage of his status,  for himself/his family's own edification.

Sometimes I think your a very intelligent gentleman and then sometimes with  the nasty posts like this you prove me wrong.  Why can't you just say "you do not agree with his politics"  instead of the nasty, annoying and unwelcome vocabulary that you put out there.   We will understand, you do not like his politics, (because,  how can you not like him,  the man,  you don't even know him)  we are not stupid people.

Well lets start with this "brainless statement". What in ghod's name makes you think that Romney won't be surrounding himself with "his friends"? And considering much of Romney's so called business experience consists of stripping equity from companies to line the pockets of "his friends" why would I want to hand him the biggest cookie jar in the world, ie, the US economy?

Not sure how you got the notion that he was "stripping equity".  I know I did another post on this and don't remember any dispute from the Left.  I will be redundant and say it again in condensed form.

The essence of Bain Capitol was to bring back failing businesses,  they came to Bain/Romney and said "HELP US PLEASE"  paid Bain/Romney to restructure their business organization,  part of that restructuring was,  closing shop on certain stores that were not "doing their part" for the "whole" of the business.  When shops close,  people/employees either go to other parts of the country to thriving shops or they have to get laid off.  Bain was not hired to create jobs,  Bain was hired to get that business entity back on the path of profitability.

Like Burger King who sells hamburgers not hot dogs,  Bain was hired to make a company profitable not to create jobs.

Again, if you want Romney you're destined to have the final looting of the US economy in trend that started over 30 years when the middle class was shut out of the gains in productivity and it all went to "job creators". Why? Because they could and nobody of importance stood up to them.

is not in the business of bringing back businesses. They are in the business of running up debt, issuing more junk bonds, filing for bankruptcy, disambiguating the company, and selling it of piece at a time.

Your ignorance about the business and finance is only superseded by your stupidity and willingness to regurgitate idiot mantra. No businesses in its right mind goes to a LBO firm for restructuring. LBO firms buys the firm in one of two way, by lending money through junk bonds, or buying equity as in stocks. Buying though junk bond is more prevalent. Swaps portion of the bond for majority equity, takes over management control posing as fictitious advisers charges huge fees, runs up debt, files bankruptcy, breaks up and sells.

Win some huge profits and lose some. When they loose, bond holders loose but the trick is to keep huge ungodly profits coming so the losses doesn’t matter.

All leveraged buyout never have management support, so they don’t go asking restructuring advise from vultures.

Keep drinking the Mitty Kool-Aid.

Why do you insist on posting about subjects you have no early idea. At least read on Wikipedia.

If you look deep within most self proclaimed experts ,  they are average people with  agendas or insatiable  hunger for attention .

A few examples .   The risk associated  with  daily baby aspirin as preventive medicine for healthy adults is far more dangerous  for your body than the chance of your first myocardial infarction without the aspirin , yet many self described   experts will disagree ,  as healthy young patients continue dying from vitamin abuse.

I am very curious as to why it was OK when Biden said that "that was the Intelligence that they got"  and,  of course,  we all know what that was,  hmmm some man put out some damn video and the Muslims got mad,  yea right.

But when Bush ran with the Intelligence that they got about Iraq,  and I don't have any quotes off hand but again I think the people here know what I'm talking about,  they "the liberals"  got all over it,  and said,  OH, what a terrible President,  Bush was. He got us into this war,  forgetting we were attacked on our turf and it became "a dog eat dog world"  and any war is better off being fought somewhere else than on our land.   IMHO

We have a very high rate of safe meds, and you're characterization of them isn't remotely accurate.

And while for example some studies disprove what experts thought, for example the newly released large study on exercise in overweight diabetics and prevention of heart disease which showed surprising results, expert advice on diets can't stop people from overeating and not exercising any more than expert advice on contraception can stop people from having unwanted pregnancies.  The experts can't put a chastity belt on these people.
