when our financial bubbles pop about every decade. FDR was the best president during the Great Depression, and now is not the time to be conservative. The Gov moves slow as a snell but we need them to use that unlimited credit right now, more than ever. Like FDR did. Only 1% of our deficit today is from all the programs and help from FDR.

I didn't say his programs ended the Great Depression. I was merely saying, there is a time to use our credit. Now is the time! Businesses, banks, power companies, small businesses, every individual American citizen. The stimulus will save us, just like FDR saved a generation during the Great Depression.
The economy slid back into recession in 1938 and U/E was just shy of 15% in 1940! FDR had NOTHING to do with us coming out of the GD.
And I am not sure what you are seeing now either. We are doing exactly what YOU are saying we should be doing i.e. deficit spending to keep the economy afloat.
Both parties voted for the massive spending for CV so not sure where the it's not time to be "conservative" is coming from. Virtually no one is arguing that government shouldn't be spending money to help people and save businesses due to no fault of the business owners or workers.
You have a warped sense of what conservatives stand for and against. But that's not just aimed at you. Many so called conservatives let me down on spending/debts/deficits (Pre-Covid) and one of those is Trump. Its my biggest gripe with him.
I'm happy our Gov has stepped up, including POTUS. I think congress needs to do more. People are hitting the streets in protest, because they are hungry. Starving to death, waiting on congress to come back to work.
Everybody making less than $75000 a year just got $1200! Do you know how far that goes on the McDonalds dollar menu? At a dollar for each meal, three meals a day, that's over ONE year!!!!
