A good rule of thumb for Maricopa County voters for judicial retention elections.

Check to see if former Arizona Governor Janet N. appointed the judge.  If so, then automatically vote against retention for that one.  Janet N. (former Governor) almost without fail appointed terrible judges and most judicial problems in Maricopa County can be traced back to those appointed by her.
