Senator Mary Landrieu (D-Cunt) is blocking an Obama budget nomination in order to try to get Obama to lift the ban on deep sea oil drilling.

But I guess this is what happens when you have two political parties, one of which is right wing (the Dems) and the other which is out of it's fucking mind.

Perhaps, if the Dems get their asses handed to them, and the GOP have another go at fucking things up 6 ways from Sunday, then maybe we'll get something better with a fresh new group of Dems. But I won't hold my breath.
