It seems to me that Palin elicits completely visceral reactions in the left, much in the same way that Hillary does in the right.

It seems like each of these women are the antithesis of acceptable cultural norms in their respective cultures.

I for one am at a loss to fully understand the opposition to Hillary.  I wonder if those on the right feel similarly about Palin?

and Palin and McCain are not. That's enough alone to make you think.

People object to Palin because they perceive her to be a hypocritical jesus freak. I personally have reservations about her because of her being a "bible thumper" I have an inherent distrust of anyone who thinks the world is only a few thousand years old. OTOH I personally do not find her a hypocrite, she believes what she believes. I don't offend easily but even I am offended by the outrageous and flagrant lies the left has been spreading about her.

Hillary comes off as a lying bitch, and on a personal level even the sound of her voice is irritating, not to mention her socialistic views. I have to confess, just hearing Hillary speak, just the very sound of her voice is enough to rile me.

That said, if it were down to Hillary vs Obama for the presidency I'd reluctantly have to go with Hillary. If it were down to Hillary vs Palin, if I were forced at gunpoint to cast a ballot it would probably be for Hillary as well. Fortunately I don't have to make that choice.

A man who had been caught embezzling millions from his employer went to a lawyer seeking defense. He didn't want to go to jail. But his lawyer told him, "Don't worry. You'll never have to go to jail with all that money. And the lawyer was right. When the man was sent to prison, he didn't have a dime.
