Just curious. As I'm a formal Federal inmate and have not petitioned the Federal Courts to get my rights as an American citizen reinstated I'm not legally allowed to vote. And as I'm not really inclined to take up the fight to change my status anytime soon I really am just an outside casual observer to the political process. I don't really lean one way or the other and am mainly just interested in my own personal and business affairs. I'm curious though about this whole political divide in the United States. I'm not trying to offend anyone with what I'm posting here, I'm just curious. It would seem to be that in my lifetime every time, this country elects a Republican president the United States is affected so negatively that by the end of the 8 years that the Republican Administration has been in power the United States is nearly on the edge of political, social, and economic collapse. It's pretty obvious to a casual observer like myself that every time a Democrat is elected into the White House the Administration has to hit the ground running just to save the entire nation. The biggest problem seems to be the economy. Unemployment is the number one problem. Followed by the Stock Market, failing banks, farms, foreign trade, manufacturing, etc., etc.. It seems to me, once again just a casual observer, tat the first four years of any Democrat Admin. must exert extreme resources and time just to fix all the problems left by the previous Republican Administration. Then that same Administration spends its next four years building up the country to a position of what I would perceive as American greatness and world leadership. This is always followed by Americans electing a Republican President who will spend the next 8 years basically running the United States into the ground. Overspending, starting wars, ruining the economy, and destroying America's leadership position on the world stage.
With this last Republican Administration, it was obvious that Trump was in no way competent enough to lead your country. The man is a used car salesman. Being a professional criminal myself, I can easily recognize a fellow professional. However, Trump and his family are in no way at the same level as I and many of the criminals I have dealt with over the years are. The Trumps are more like mid-level thugs. Not at all that sophisticated and pretty obvious as to what they are. Basically, morons who have gained their position due to nepotism. How is it that there are so many millions of good, God-fearing, hard-working, and America-loving Americans who as I can see are the ones who are most adversely affected by the actions of the Republican party, are the ones who are the only reason that Republicans are still a viable political p[arty within the United States? It's the middle and lower-income classes that the ones who get screwed by Republican policies the most, and yet they are the ones who provide the votes that keep this criminal enterprise in business.
Just imagine a period of let's say 24 years. A time that is equal to an average of 3 administrations. If during that time it was a Democrat Admin, followed by a Democrat Admin, followed by a Democrat Admin. America would no doubt be generations ahead of the rest of the world. Economically, Socially, and Technologically in nearly every aspect of modern humanity America would lead the world. Of course, there would probably be fewer mega-Billionaires but no doubt many more billionaires, many, many, many more millionaires for sure. And Americans as a whole would be safer, better educated, longer living, and happier.
It doesn't make sense to me.
And as America keeps playing its idiotic game of one step forwards and two steps back, the rest of the world is catching up, and in some cases starting to pass the United States.
If you guys give it back to Republicans in 2024, the United States is going to end up being more on the level of the U.K., or Japan, and Germany. Still a first-world nation, but not the Greatest Nation.
Like I've said, it's not something that I can have much say in. And in all honesty guys like me will always live a very comfortable life even if the entire country goes to shit.
I guess I'm curious as to why there are so many good, law-abiding, and patriotic American citizens who in any other situation would in no way aid a criminal, provide the necessary support to enable the Republican party to continue their rape of the United States?
Anyone?
