Life experience and trust are major characteristics when running for president and thirty five seems like a sensible age to gaurentee these attributes and qualities have been attained and can be gauged.

Have you listened to some of these folks try to get a coherent sentence out?  Both R and D, it does not matter.  Whether 70 is the right age we can discuss.  Certainly no higher than 80 though.
