Hi,

I just read that the couple trying to bring their beliefs to a backwards country were killed!!! :o( They knew the high risks, but yet, tried to deliver what they believe Is God's message!!! They paid w/ their lives even though they new that Somalia pirates hated "bible thumpers"!!! Trying to deliver bibles , in all things, a yacht, in that part of the country is a recipe for disaster!!!

I don't know, are those religious people just blind to the fact that some people are just pure evil???

The great comic, George Carlin once stated," more people have been killed in the name of religion than anything else"!!! How true & again, how prophetic!!!

but truth be told I doubt their "bible thumping" had that much to do with them getting themselves killed. Everyone with half a brain knows better than to sail through those waters without a military escort.

Stupid people get themselves killed all the time, it really doesn't keep me up at night.

...... and not taken them into custody.

By the way Bibles had nada to do with their killing or being kidnapped.

...There were nearly 15 pirates on a 70-foot boat.  Why?  One of them fired an RPG at the Navy ship before the boarding took place.  Usually these situations develop into a standoff because the Navy wants to wear down the pirates, so they don't force the action.  There's a lot here that needs explaining.
