The "rebels" we are supporting in Libya are being led by a man who fought our troops in Iraq and Afganistan. He also has al Qaeda soldiers under his command and we are supporting them.

As a parent of 2 who went to Iraq and fought, I am OUTRAGED that this government is now supporting the same people who were shooting at our children.

What is this incompetant boob leading us into?

As I understand it, al Qaeda doesn't have a very strong presence in Libya. One connection isn't all that surprising, and unless you can demonstrate that the majority of Libyan rebels have al Qaeda connections, then you're either being misleading or being misled.

But if that outrages you, I'm sure that the Bush family's connection to the bin Laden family outrages you as well. I'm sure you will also be outraged that Reagan's CIA funded and trained bin Laden. I'm sure you'll also be outraged to find that bin Laden's mentor, Ayman al-Zawahiri wouldn't even be in the business of terrorism if he hadn't been galvanized by the torture he recieved in Egypt while we were giving Egypt plenty of foreign aid.
