Or so it appears. So far I haven't heard of any European immigrants being attacked. The bulk of the community I live amongst is composed of people who were born outside the United States. Some are citizens now, some still have Green Cards, some just on Visa of one type or another, and admittedly I don't know the exact circumstances of most of the people I come in contact with on a regular basis. But I can think of only two or three people I've communicated with face-to-face since the beginning of the year who were born in this country.
Those from England or Ireland don't even think about being concerned for their safety. Same with white friends from France or Germany. But those who come from Latin America and Mexico are quite concerned if not for themselves then for others in their community. Likewise with those from the East.
Whites who see the foreigner as an outlet for anger that is sanctioned by this recent political gains of the Extreme Nationalists don't exercise that by roaming the streets at night attacking the Irish or Germans visiting this country. All their victims are in racial terms people easily classified as something other than white.
And since striking out at the other is the only access they have of collaborating with the Extreme White Nationalists that's what they do.

People like JD, FV, and EW/BS5 engaged in expressions of hatred in private places like their hog farms because it was not acceptable to speak out publicly.

Now they feel those who are arguably speaking on behalf of the American people are giving hate groups the Okay to attack. Even when admonished, there are dog whistles to urge on the attacks. The "president" as well as his political collaborators are giving the green light to such people. So now, it is, by the forces controlling our country, "sanctioned."
It is called "peddling Racism" from the top to uneducated bottom of the pit. If anyone cares to know, there are thousands of illegal immigrants from Russia in Bensonhurst in New York city, Irish in Woodside, New York City and Italians in Whitestone, New York City. They all have white skin and pass as on "Born in USA" Americans.
It is the Asian Indians, Pakistanis and Middle Eastern , even those who are second & third generation born here who are looked down as "Illegal Immigrants".

Predicting the future is pointless and usually a foolish pastime, but if I were playing such a game just to pass the time, I'd say that we might expect a great deal of encouragement given to white Europeans to consider immigrating to the USA just as limits are imposed on non-white immigrants. Those who are currently in a position of control want to pump up the whiteness of the country while bleaching out as much of the color and excitement to American life as possible.
