Biden is ignored by all in his own party. No one wants to talk to him or be seen next to him.
He is cast aside by his own….fucking pathetic, feeble  decrepit old fuck no one wants him not even his own.

You would be embarrassed by what you just said.  It's so obvious even a five-year-old can pick up on it.   There was one segment where Joe started to walk towards someone, they say him coming, turned around and walked away.  Joe put his hands out like, "WTF, don't you realize I'm the president?"  It was indeed, pathetic.

has done for the American people that have significantly changed their lives for the better and I will stop hating him.  In fact, I would be willing to contribute to a fund to find him a nice assisted-living facility that provides a safe environment for people in cognitive decline.

Did you ever notice how people that are debating on their heels throw in too many adjectives to support a weak point?  It's like a "tell" that a weak poker player has.  You're kind of new at this, aren't you?

Of course trusting something you see on the internet is always a good idea. Especially with crude video editing on both sides of the issue.  But good job there bro, explaining yourself and all.  Do stay in touch.  And by the way, just about everything we are going through now relates back to Trump, but I will concede that American foreign policy for the past 200 years has been pretty clueless.

even name ONE thing Biden has done to improve the lives of Americans.  This is probably the least-subtle deflection anybody had ever put up on this board when they got nailed with no possible response.  If you had remained silent, you would have come out better, but you can't help yourself, can you?

Okay, I'll rephrase my question to give you another shot . . . . Name ONE thing, not three, that Biden has done to improve the lives of ordinary Americans?  (What's it going to be, deflection or crickets? - Lol)

Joe has done a bunch of things to make people's lives better. And you know it.
1)  The American Rescue Plan granting stimulus payments to every American as well as jobless benefits and child tax credits. It kept many people afloat during the pandemic.
2) The infrastructure bill, over a trillion dollars to rebuild roads, bridges and tunnels.

Just asking the question the way you did proves again what a relentless partisan hack you are.

To those achievements you can add the distribution of millions of doses of free COVID vaccines, the drop in unemployment, dramatic reduction in child poverty, and overall growth in the U.S. economy.  Biden inherited a mess - the pandemic was raging, economy was in distress, and country had survived an attempt to overturn a legitimate election. Regrettably, none of this matters to the far-right, democracy-hating, hard-core MAGA extremists and fear-mongering culture warriors.

people for a week or two, tax credits are worthless to low-income Americans who pay little or no taxes already, and who needs roads, bridges or tunnels if they can't afford to put gas in their car without have to skip a few meals?  Nice try, these are like putting a band-aid on a ruptured artery.   You may see these as "accomplishments" but they are negated by the things he and the Dems have royally fucked up and the proof will  be at the ballot box in November.    He's fucking the American people.  Guys like you and I may not feel it much, but AVERAGE Americans are disappointed in Joe's policies and want him and the Dems gone!!!   I saw a poll a few years ago that said 41% if Dems would not vote for Joe again BECAUSE OF HIS FAILED POLICIES.

cks175 52 Reviews 32 reads

The tax credits are turning out to be politically problematic for the Democrats because lower income tax payers are just now finding out that they won’t be getting the big income tax refund they plan on getting each year.

Combine record inflation with grumbling over no tax refund, and you’ve got a lot of voters really displeased with the status quo.

1) How in the world could you possibly know that "The Stimulus payments helped people for a week or two?" Answer: you don't. So as usual you are pulling shit out of your ass and representing it as a fact.
2) The child tax credit of $300 per month was actually mailed to millions of parents for the better part of a year. So another false claim by you.
3) Most of the infrastructure money has yet to be spent.  Not to mention if someone has to skip a meal (and I doubt anyone has), what does that have to do with being able to drive on a repaired bridge or road? They still have to drive on it.
4) And if "a poll a few years ago...said41% if (sic) Dems would not vote for Joe again" when Joe's only been President since last year? Or was this another poll you took of your Mexican maids? LOL.
All in all, one of your screwiest posts ever. And that's saying something.

number 4.  The poll was a few days ago, but here we go on the others . . . .
1)  The stimulus payments were not that much.  I have some employees who qualified for them.  They told me the money didn't go very far.
2)  As CKS said, because of these credits, they lost their tax refunds, so the idea that this is something "extra" for struggling Americans was just smoke and mirrors by the Dems.  They were just getting their tax refunds in installments, that's all.
3)   So you are admitting that the benefits to Americans will occur sometime in the future, and is not something he has ALREADY done to improve their lives as I asked in my original question?  I will agree with you.  Some of the Obama infrastructure NEVER got built.  Should I start bragging about what Trump will do in the future, too, or should we wait and see if it actually materializes.  Dems make promises that aren't kept, like "Keep your own doctor" and "shovel-ready jobs" to name just a few, and I think everyone will agree that Joe is no Barrack Obama.

1) It was a typo when you said the poll was years ago? Some typo.
2) The credits got spending money into millions of people's hands sooner and when they needed it.
3) About the other benefits you omitted "from the infrastructure bill. It will benefit people for years.
That's a LOT more than the "nothing" you referred to.
As for promises not kept, what about Trumps never-ending "Infrastructure Week?"

You made some on topic points there. You’re learning to write substantive posts that deal with politics and religion.

That said, you missed the boat on the tax credits. They were helpful in 2021, but led to a disappointment (no tax refunds) in 2022.  That’s not going to help Dems in 2022, and may even turn out to be a net negative for them.

who got the advance tax credits are going to remember in the voting booth is that they got a tax refund last year under Trump and they didn't get one this year under Biden.  Go ahead and try to explain "offsets' to them.  That will only make it worse.  Trump promised a secure border.  He promised a tax reduction.  He promised energy independence (could sure some of that right about now).  He promised investment in under-served black communities.  I could go on, but that's enough to contrast Trump to Biden.  All of these promises were kept and people could see the real benefits within a year.  How long does it take to build a bridge?  It has taken them over a year where I live to change a freeway onramp from one lane to two lanes.   Dems only know how to hand out free money and that has given us inflation.   At least half the Dems are not stupid, and those are the ones that will bring the GOP back into power after the debacle called the Biden presidency.

Or perhaps, only in the Bizarro World in which you live.
Trump "promised" a secure border but delivered a partly-built, defective wall that actually fell down in places in a strong breeze. And he paid for it by stealing the funds from the military budget. Yep, he loved our troops alright.
And his tax reduction was mainly for rich people.
Oh, and tell me what kind of investments were actually made in black communities.
You have a rich fantasy life.

That said, let’s  to get this thread back on topic; the reduced/eliminated income tax refunds this year…. Don’t you think that reduces the likelihood that many of those who are now feeling shorter will be enthusiastic to vote come Election Day?

Voter enthusiasm is already an issue for Dems this cycle. They are polling around 35% compared to 55% for Republican voters.

Interesting take on 200 years of bad foreign policy. One could argue that overall our foreign policy has contributed to our superpower status, one of the wealthiest countries in world history, and the longest running democratic republic in the world.

On the other hand, how much better off would we be if our foreign policy choices had been better over the course of these past years?

Weak take on “everything is Trump’s fault”. Biden made his own bed, and come November he’s got to lay in it.

a discussion on Trump's "Opportunity Zones."  The Trump tax break for investment in inner-cities attracted 75 billion in investment capital by 2020.   He also gave funding to traditional black universities.  Did you hear about that, or do you need a link to that one, too?

Only 500 miles of the wall was completed by the time Trump left office.   Much of the delay was due to Dem obstruction in Congress concerning the funding.  Now there is a half-billion in materials sitting in the sun and rain deteriorating because Biden has opened the borders rather than complete the wall, despite the fact that the Border Patrol states the wall was working very well in areas where it had been completed.  That's a half-billion of our tax dollars, pissed away by Dem incompetence.   DHS is expecting 18,000 illegals a day this summer.  That's tracking at 6.5 million illegals for the year.

It says, for example: "But critics say the biggest beneficiaries are billionaire financiers and warn that a small number of the most attractive zones are attracting the bulk of the money."
Your article goes on to point out investment funds were created by fat cats to take advantage of the tax breaks by....wait for it...."Early supporters include Anthony Scaramucci, a member of Trump’s campaign finance committee in 2016 who served briefly as White House director of communications, as well as the president’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner. Scaramucci’s Skybridge Capital runs an opportunity zone fund, while Kushner sold his stake in a company investing in opportunity zone projects amid allegations of a conflict of interest."
And finally, it seems the benefits may not have accrued to local minorities but to fat cat investors: "many questions remained unanswered, such as how much of the $75 billion had been deployed and whether the right places had been selected for investment.
...Some of the claims for the impact on poverty were speculative and based on projections.
“If there is an effect, it is worth noting this may be principally through out-migration of poor folks and the in-migration of higher-income folks, rather than by raising incomes of incumbent residents,” he said. “A big issue for opportunity zones is whether they actually benefit the low- and moderate-income residents they purport to.”
As for the wall, you seem to have been left to admit it hardly got built and then blaming the Dems for not agreeing to fund it. But why should they have? They disagreed it would help. And you have no clue as to whether the recent border surge would have been contained by it.
Another swing and a miss by you.

that in the 500 miles where the wall was completed, it was working.  If it had been completed, there is no reason to believe it would not be working.  Illegals are crossing in areas where the Dems refused to continue the construction of the wall.  With illegals flooding into the US at over 20 times in 2021 (and expected to be 50 times this year) the rate we had in Trump's last year, there is no doubt that completely the wall would and closing the boarder would have stopped this.
Also, while we disagree on the success of the Opportunity Zones, you seem to concede that Trump gave funding to traditionally black universities.

http://marketrealist.com/p/how-much-border-wall-is-built/
Trump built around 438 miles of Wall. However, around 365 miles of that was repaired or upgraded OLD wall. Only 73 miles of wall was built where no wall had stood before.
.
But to paraphrase part of your insightful comment: The wall is working where it's working. The wall is not working where it isn't working. Brilliant.
.
"There is no doubt that completely [sic] the wall would  [sic] and closing the boarder [sic] would have stopped this." Sez who? You? Border patrol? The same people who thought that building a moat filled with alligators would stop illegal crossings?
.
For the past 6+ years, experts have pointed out that there are several approaches to controlling and stopping illegal crossings, each with cost - effectiveness benefits in each area ... and that it is IMPOSSIBLE to build a 2000 mile, massive, Trumpian 40-foot tall concrete wall along the entire border.
.
The "Opportunity Zones" crafted by Kushner - Trump were subjected to several investigative reports, including one by 60 Minutes or some other TV show like 60 Minutes. As I recall (a) they were designed to attract investments for foreigners who would get favorable visa and citizenship consideration in exchange for investing, (b) I think that Kushner's sister, on one of her trips to China, was soliciting investments into Kushner family real estate projects in such a Zone and she received a warning from a government ethics office, (c) the zones were gerrymandered in such a way to allow investment in bordering areas without actually being IN the most needy areas. ... Kind of like only having to have one toe nail's worth of contact with the "photo op" communities.
