...Nine out of 161 detainees released during the Obama administration.

If Obama is an asshole, what does that make George W. Bush?  Bush released 532 terrorists from Gitmo;  113 returned to fighting.

Interesting, but why is Gitmo still open?

House/ Senate GOP members have erected barriers to prevent the permanent closure of a Gitmo by Obama. It's costing U.S. Taxpayers approx $7 million per inmate to keep Gitmo open. So, when will simple common sense prevail?

It is a waste of money!

t cost significantly more to run a prison in Gitmo than it would someplace else.  

Everything must be brought in by ship or plane.    
There is not even a source of drinking water on the entire 45 Sq, Mi. base.  

But Republicans don't really care about wasting money

The GOP and their supporters don't care and some think President Obama is worst than President Bush.

It's not about logic with these people, but their racists attitudes.

The GOP Congress never wanted to work with this President and he still got things done!
