Since it is a "service".   The only way I could see it happening is with streaming.....ie: if they want to broadcast that movie in USA it will cost X amount more.   Same goes for in theaters.    

 
But lets be honest.... theaters have been dying since covid.   Sad but true.    Streaming/PPV has killed them.    Why pay $40+ for two people to go watch it in a theater when wait a month or two and stream it for PPV for $29.99 at your home and you have it for a week or longer to watch it or rewatch it.   So "Hollywood" has killed themselves for allowing this to happen.  IF they are worried about "theaters" or the movie going experience.

Example, look how the HBO series White Lotus is set, usually in some exotic places like Thailand, based on the last series.
There's more that shot overseas for the special settings.

Yep..... all those series.  Think of the Borne/MIP films are shot over seas.   Lots of time in old Eastern Bloc countries or Italy.

 
those series will be taking a huge hit and so will the production value.   The will now either have to pay the "tariff" or be shot in Hawaii, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, Coastal area's that can look tropical.     Or it will be CGI crap.  

 
People might start to switch back to cable.   Might actually see writers writing again.   Sitcoms might make a comeback.   Enough of the reality bullshit.
