Can anyone clarify this discrepancy? . . . .

The latest NPR/PBS poll has Biden at 42% Approval, and Rasmussen has him at 44%.  Which pollster is historically more accurate?  I have always thought that Rasmussen leaned right in their polling and NPR/PBS leaned left.  If that is the case, why is the discrepancy reversed from what one would expect?

Ever since the 1984 election where practically everyone I knew said that "ol Ronnie" was going to be retired after one term; I've NEVER given polls much attention.  Anyone who takes them already is going to have an inherent bias by the very fact that they're picking and choosing who to interview or poll.

42% ....44%  ?????  Waaaaay too high

Without bringing Trump into this (which our dear certain friends will undoubtedly do); WHO in their right mind even THINKS that Biden is doing a good or even a competent job?   He has been ineffective in almost EVERYTHING he touches.

Even Jimmy Carter at least had the Cairo Peace Accords (which I still attrbute to Sadat mostly)

Look up every President going back, and everyone had at least ONE thing they could hang their hat or tiny legacy on....

Let's see if anyone can give an answer without bringing up Trump.
I bet not, as our little peanut gallery is already foaming at the mouth for their 2 sheckles to answer.

to be crickets on this from our Libs here.

Worth noting his RCP approval average is at 42.5
