I'n not saying anything will come of this but I think if so it would take some votes away from hillwhorie, and possibly make a difference.

Looks like he's already agreed to endorse Hillary next week.  He cares more about influencing the platform than making sure Drumpf gets elected President, insuring he's condemned forever as the next Nader.  Don't get your hopes up.

It would almost certainly hand the election to Trump and as much of an ideologue that Sanders is, he knows it.

Sanders is simply holding out, trying to influence the platform as much as he can, before finally getting himself and his socialist backers firmly behind Hillary.

The one fact I can take hope in is that Hillary is such a fucking liar that she will make all the promises she needs to, to get the Sanders people behind her and then once elected she will forget every one of those promises.
