That preening, self-regarding metrosexual fop Bibi had by all accounts a tough week.  Cry me an 'effing river amigos.

By golly, he had to suffer some criticism!

And in the USA no less!

What is the world coming to?

And after [predictably] getting his ass kissed at yet another AIPAC conference.  Talk about an idolatry buzzkill.

Some people think that this is the start of a real big change. And some people believe in Santa Claus.  Usually they grow up and learn otherwise. Even a pathetic goof like Silvio Berlusconi momentarily sprouted pair and ever-so-gently  pointed out how in the wrong Bibi managed to get himself.

Alas, it's all a big nothing.  Creatures like Bibi are nothing if not resilient, and he'll no doubt find a way to recover lost ground.  No doubt the Pallys will provide an invaluable assist and perpetrate some murderous atrocity which will allows Bibi and his playmates to garner sympathy.

I am amused as hell at the guys who think Bibi is flat on his back.  Take a look at the Panglossian wishful thinking from Gershem Gorenberg [who really knows better] comparing the political positions of POTUS Obama and PM Bibi:

"  It's clear who's in the stronger position. It's also clear that Obama has a more realistic understanding of what would serve both American and Israeli interests. Yeah, well, i say enjoy it whle it lasts, which ain't gonna be long at all.  By April 30th all of this is so far down the memory hole it will be like it occurred in the Dark Ages.

Let's get some gratuitous artwork in here as well.  Just so that toxic bag of flatulence Priapus53 can further speculate about my motives.

At least Prime Minister Binyamin "Bibi" Netanyahu is working to protect his nation and at least he doesn't go around bad-mouthing his country. As former commander of an elite commando unit, he least understands how to fight terrorism. President Obama goes into Afghanistan in the middle of the night for a three-hour tour. For what, a phony photo-op. Pathetic.

From what I understand, Prime Minister Netanyahu has been in combat and has rescued hostages at gunpoint. President Obama is holding his country hostage to his idealogue and puts his countrymen in jail for excerising their second amendment rights.


Binyamin Netanyahu lost his brother in service to his country. President Barack Obama gave up smoking marijuana. As a young man Netanyahu postponed his college studies to answer his call of duty to his country in the Yom Kipper war. Obama as a young man, received a substantial stipend from foreign sources to finance his college education.

PM Netanyahu has fought against foreign invaders. President Obama has allowed foreign enemies to kill American citizens. As leader of his country, PM Netanyahu at least cares for his countrymen and their future. Obama is sacrificing the financial health of this country for his own political gain.

However, you've finally posted a comment that I can respond to without feeling unclean.

OK then. for the moment, let's set aside my contention you've actually bad mouthed Netanyahu MANY times, and focus on this question: Why? You point to anti-Semitic and virulently pro-Arab sources for a vast majority of your commentaries, and your effete intellectualism shines through in your daily didactic diatribes of snarky loathing and cynicism towards any and All Things Israel. But you've never said anything about why. In the past you've referenced the Protocols of the Elders of Zion despite knowing that it is a complete fabrication. I KNOW you're not so ignorant you would actually attach any validity to it.

So I ask you, to tell me in no uncertain terms, no gray area ambiguities why you believe pro-Israel policies are detrimental to the US?

That's the price for my time. A straight answer from you.

leaders we have supported. We supported the Shah of Iran for many years. How did that turn out?

      Then we supported Saddam for a while. Let's see, all those leaders in Vietnam; how about Taiwan, don't we regret that treaty now.

    Bush gave 10 billion a year to Musharaff to fight terrorists but he spent most of it on the Indian border and for a down payment on his flat in London. The corrupt governmen in Afghanistan, yeah - that will turn out well.

      Bad policy is what we do, since the policy makers are spending taxpayer money. Of course, there are many bad policy consequences of our support of Israel but you can't just say it is bad (although I just did in my examples LOL) , you have to balance the negatives with the positives before you can conclude that supporting Bibi is bad policy for America.

Let me guess- you have not actually done that.

Oh, you don't?  I thought you were one of those lames who compulsively reads my every word and then either refuses  to cop to it [like Peter, 3 times before the cock crowed, not that i'm comparing myself to HIM mind you, but 12 years of RC education does not easily die, even in me]or even more lamely, obsessively posts to bitch and whine like a whiny little bitch about my interest in this topic.

Well Breaker, if you don't see Bibi's deadliness, i suggest that you are willfully blind.  Let me paraphrase a tiny passage from that book you're so fond of - have you cast out your eyes because they would otherwise cause you to take offense?

You are so Panglossian re the ill-effects of Bibi & co. that i suggest you transfuse blood to a few chronic depressives, saving them the obscene costs of Prozac, Zoloff, and Paxil.


I'll retract the fop comment, though.  That was a reach and really over the top.

But even if bibi is a fop, that's still not proof that i regard him as a bad Israeli - at best it's evidence that i regard him as a figure of some comedy.  And he would be funny if he wasn't so damned dangerous to the welfare of this country.

I mean, really, what grown man any where is named Bibi?  


Hey, Breaker, you seem to be such a  big Bibi fan, write him in for Prez in 2012.

Don't worry about any birthers - no one's going to have the balls to ask to see Bibi's birth cert.

I suspect that there is more and less to your supposed critique of me  than meets the eye  here.

i'd wonder what your story is but, it's really none of my business and I really don't care in the end.
