The Biden Bounce

In the meantime, here comes the first of what I'm sure will be many embarassing news articles for the Obama/Biden ticket.

Not that I put a lot of stock into it. If Biden is corrupt, with a negative net worth after more than three decades in the Senate, he certainly isn't very good at it.

Maybe that's what Stamina meant by his Biden's financial failures are actually a positive. I guess, truth be told I'm still trying to figure out how being a financial loser is now considered to be a political strength.

Oh just be patient. The reaction to Biden's selection as VP is only just now starting to settle in. There WILL be a bounce in the coming days - the resounding SPLAT of Obama's numbers bouncing on the pavement. There are now 18 million Hillary supporters pissed off because their fearless leader wasn't so much as vetted - meaning she was nowhere close to being on the shortlist.

LOL Oh-ohbama could not have possibly screwed up worse. I just love it :)

It feeds into their class warfare strategy.  The rich are EEEEVIL!!!!  Unless your Kennedy, Pelosi, Kerry, Hillary, Rockefeller, etc., etc.

it is perplexing why SEnator Obama did not select a female Vice Presidential candidate? Two ladies in my office who supported Hillary, today said they will vote for McCain. Obama must have hit a nerve.

Though I am not a fan of the Clintons I am of the opinion the national press was unfair perhaps even sexist in regards to Hillary's candidacy. Hillary was constantly being critized for being too emotional, not emotional enough and critiqued on her fashion sense.

Sen. Obama saying; " Your likeable enough Hillary" at the New Hampshire primary debate is as condescending remark as I have ever heard. ...and he was so smug when he said it, it even embarrassed me.

Hah, I thought the press walked on egg shells NOT to attack poor lil Miss Hillary to hard. The sniper fire flap was over in a week, but if another candidate who happened to have a dangly had said it, the press would STILL be talking about it. She got caught in a bald faced lie, and it was a 3 day story at best. Meanwhile, "credible" journalists STILL prattle on about Bush lying.

As for her emotional moments, I'm sorry, I just couldn't help but laugh. What tears?? Where?? She looked ridiculous, and the press should have nailed her ass to the wall. She should stick to politics because she is a lousy actress. Furhtermore, even after the second time she attempted to round up a few well planned tears and failed, the press still didn't eat her alive as they should have.

Hillary got as fair a chance as anyone could ask for. Before the primaries began, the press treated her as the presumptive nominee before a single ballot had been cast. They fawned over her and gave her a ramp up that God himself would envy.

I must not have seen the "likeable enough" comment, but what about her condescending attacks on Barack? There were plenty. She gave as good as she got, and in the end, Barack flat out got more votes than she did. Spare me the Michigan and Florida excuse. In Michiagan especially, more than 300,000 people, 40% of all of those who voted went to the polls on a day that was blowing snow sideways, just to mark "none of the above". Barack's name wasn't on the ballot, and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out who they intended to vote for if they had been given the chance. If you want to add the 400,000 votes Hillary got in Michigan, then lets add those 300,000 to Barack's total. Do that, and he still wins the popular vote. He just plain got more votes. Get over it.

I must say though, that I am disappointed. In typical Dem fashion, the masses have already surrendered. I was hoping for a brawl on the floor tonight, but alas, the media was hard pressed to find even a few convention goers sporting Hillary t-shirts. I had to laugh though at the TV ad of the "fomer Hillary delegate" who says she is now going to vote for McCain.

In a week or two Oh-oh-bama is going to realize just how big a mistake he made. If he couldn't stomach Hillary, he should have had the sense to pick ANY other female as his running mate. Kathleen Sebelius of Kansas would have been an oustanding choice. Thank goodness for the GOP he wasn't smart enough to figure that one out. Yet another reason to question his so-called judgement.

Hillary is a ball buster.  Poor Barack would have to go from having his balls busted by Hillary to having his balls busted by Michell My Bell--all in one day.  Think of it:  7 days a week--for 208 weeks!!!!  No man could take that.  That would turn me into a lunatic.

I'd love to see a cat-fight between Michelle My Bell and Hillary.  Oooooh it would be awesome.

press was fawning all over Obama. Thank you for your perspective. I admit women have an unusual influence on me.

Dennis Miller put is well tonight. She got EIGHTEEN MILLION votes in a year and the Dems weren’t smart enough to put her on the ticket, how grateful can the Republicans be?

I still think she is going to do whatever she can to harpoon BHO. If she gives a very good speech this week (especially if better than Biden’s speech), it will only prove to the Dems that they made a mistake.
