What someone else says?
To the American people to get up every day and put a pin on your jacket?
Do you do that?
Do you hold yourself responsible for the actions and comments of others?
I sincerely doubt it.
And, just what importance in the grand scheme do these two things have to do with the future of the world?
We are in the middle of the single most meaningful election year in memory. And, we focus on the things that allow us to insult someone for these kinds of innocuous actions or non-actions.
Time to wake up folks.
These and other things that we criticize Obama for and the things that we criticze McCain for mean absolutely zero in the big picture.
Regardless of our political leanings, it's time to wake up to the issues, not the non-issues that make us feel like big shots for a fleeting moment.
Alot like hobbying if you ask me.
We grab up a pile of $100's, run off and see a girlie, and for a nano-second we feel like big men, or women as we immerse outselves in that power we weild over our insecurities or over the other person we're with.
Then it's over. Just like spewing meaningless insults at someone for actions that hold no weight.
This morning a General insulted McCain's service to the country during his wartime service.
I'm not a McCain supporter, but I abhor this kind of thing.
During the primaries I yearned for grown up political debate. Yearned for the issues to be addressed as if we really care about the severity of our concerns.
I applaud McCain's consistent comments regarding the complexion of rhetoric, as I do Obama's similar approach.
Try it here.
That's not kumbaya in any way. If you think it is....
You miss the point altogether.
All you've done since you came here is attack me personally in the most vicious sort of way. (Most of which is comical bullshit but that's another story) and what's my crime?
Hurling insults at public figures.
Fatal; attraction, that's what this seems to be about. You met me somewhere long ago, bgot told by someone else I was some big POS (which I never claimed for myself) and since I did'nt somehow reach out to you and make friends with you, you've been stalking me and doing everything possible to scratch my eyes out like a scorned cunt.
Sorry, bitch. Grow up. You're not going to remake this fo0rum to fit your image. IT is wqhat it is. Why don't you go to any one of the thousands of forums out on the the net where you can wax elequent and try to intice some little girlies to worship at your feet. That is, of course, until they realize what a fuckin creep you are.
But hey, we understand:
You're coming apart at the seams!
Keep it comin'!
I told you to get a prescription for that.
Inattentive on your part.
Soon enough you're gonna blow it completely!
It's ok for you to attack people personally?
Go read your inboxes from a while ago and remind yourself of the insults you hurled at Avalon Rose. You and that guy you bump peckerheads with.
Hypocritical big feller.
Now dammit, get on point. Respond to the thread.
Maybe you better retire before you have a heart attack sitting at mom's computer.
lol, dude, youre too funny,
it is no wonder you get kicked out of everywhere you go.
Have you read the discussion board that I moderate?
C'mon over, I'll delete every morsel of a word you post.
Where am I?
OMG, I'm still here.
Summummmabeeyoch.
See Cynics, the pics I promised?
Your just a fucking loser.
RIP Soon!
"Now.....watch the name calling, swearing, picture posts born of around a 10th Grade intellect."
It's like you're sitting inside his head!
Ewwwwwwwww
Better take a shower.
In furtherance of RUObsessedWBK2's blathering.
Still behind the potted plant I see....
Don't like it when people get personal, eh?
You really lost it there - makes your pointy litle head damn near explode, doesn't it?
Notice how nobody much stuck up for you? The rest of the cons here are just like you - hypocrite cowardly self-absorbed tinfoil head wannabe militiamen. Or should I just say, wannabe men, because that would be you.
A man is honest with his wife. A man steps up and says this isn't working, I'm leaving and then hires his hookers honestly. A man doesn't act the pious christian in church on Sunday after cheating on his wife. A man honors his word - and your word is worthless. You consistently betray the one person you have given your word to honor, and you posture about the dishonesty of politicians - as long as they are not republicans. You have no honor.
Now curse at me like you think a man does, and post a funny picture.
Oh, and BTW - post your real name here and I'll do the same, we'll both step out from behind the potted plant together, genius.
the inside of a twinke. You wouldn't know honor if it bit you in the ass. Put some tinfoil on your head to stop the evil signals from your puppet masters.
Tell me about how you back the law and order candidate while engaged in illegal activity. Or maybe BHO is ready to comeout with his legalize prostituion plank later in the year...
yeah, right. like x said, everyone's got something....
Fuck you and your O'Piety. all your really showing is what eyeball scrachers O'banana supporters are.
CowardsRU, plain and simple. You and I both know TER names and chickenshit aliai are 2 different stories.
After all, it is much easier to take several steps down then for you to make the arduous climb up.
You are the one who consistently holds all public figures YOU don;t agree with to the standard of sainthood. I hold you to one standard and point out your miserable failure, and you can't take it because in the world YOU construct it is indefensible. I don't peak of man's law, I speak of the higher law YOU profess to believe in.
You are no more a Christian than BHO is a Muslim. You think he couldn't have listened to Rev Wright without believing the same way, what happened to you? Does your minister sanction you cheating on your wife?
Be a man - own up to what you are and tell her the truth. Oh, I forgot - you are, in fact, what you accuse others of being. In person you get along just fine, it's only behind a keyboard that you grow a huge pair.
Now come back with curses to show your manhood and cover up for your bigoted ignorance.
Personally I don't give a fuck what BK, or anybody else for that matter does on Sunday. BK could be the least moral man on the planet, and I still don't give a fuck. You and R2 OTOH sound like two of the most estrogen filled cunts I've ever had the displeasure of hearing from.
We fucking get it already, BK fucked your wife, or girlfriend, or boyfriend, or whatever the fuck he did to you. Do you really need to inflict the rest of us with your vitriolic opinions regarding BK.
Give it a break already. This is the Politics and Religion, not the we hate Bill Kile board. Also for what it's worth I am not a Repulican, I don't like or dislike people for their party affiliation. As far as I am concerned anyone who swallows the rhetoric of either party needs to start thinking for themselves.
#1) Looks like BK is handling himself just fine.
#2) This transpired over just 2 hours @ 9:30 AM on a Monday morning. Most of us Non-Libs here were out making obscene sums of money.
There's something wrong with ya when you're doing nothing but watch this board if BK posted something all day long. Are you lost? Perhaps Obama will help you find the way.
Put your trash on some other board, and get off your grandma's PC.
Why didn't you just copy/paste my post?
Man, you are really impoding KILE... using my language in retort.
'blathering' is my comment.
See what I mean about original thoughts?
You're skin must be just crawlin'.
I did feel sorry for you until you posted that blatant racist comment.
Now, I consider you mentally un-armed and far less than dangerous.
Get some help.
I am huh?
Empty view though, lemme tell ya.
I was just reading in another thread a comment he makes about Wes Clark vs. John McCain.
Slams Clark.
I can hardly believe this guy posts anything here.
The absolute lack of knowledge and ignorance of the facts is incredible.
Shit man, the least you could do before you post here is visit Wikipedia or something, so you don't appear to be the fool you are.
Hey, Cynics...there NO grey matter in here.
As you know I simply love to poke your fat hairy ass soooo much!!
don't keep the general populace distracted and fighting over silly semantics "the man behind the curtain" might be revealed, thus destroying the allusion of an Emerald City built upon the democracy engineered by of our founding forefathers.
Good point.
I agree that they both participate.
Just too bad that it won't change in our lifetime.
for the "Wizard" to get to this point of power and deception over the American public. Truth be known the Wizard was at work scheming our republics demise shortly after The Constitution was signed. It was the industrial revolution that serendipitously afforded the tools and the venal minions allowing and further engineering his meteoric rise and influence since 1900AD.
Will that make you feel better? Or aliens?
Keep those little wheels spinning in your head.
Can someone help me out with this business about the Wizard? I know I need imagination, and I'm trying real hard but I don't know what this Wizard post means. Is it a signal for the revolution to start?
Associations do matter. It provides us insight into who our leader looks to for information, decision making, and support. It provides us insight into what our leader deems acceptable and tolerable.
We know from Obama's associations that anti-white rhetoric is acceptable. We know from his associations that regretting not carrying out more terrorist attacks against the United States is acceptable. We know that he is not surrounding himself with the best and the brightest minds. If he were, he would never have used Kennedy's disastrous meetings with Kruschev to justify his willingness to meet with Hamas. Not one person on his staff was knowledgeable enough to tell him that was a bad idea. Associations matter.
Attitudes matter too. I could care less about a flag pin. But when Obama states that our National Anthem is a little too militaristic, and that we'd be better off using "I'd like to teach the world to sing" as our anthem, I can't help but wonder just how naive he really is. Have we truly seen the depths of his naivete? I don't think we have. When Obama says that if things take an ugly turn, he will stand with the Muslims, I can't help but wonder who's best interest he really has at heart - the American people's interest, or the interests of those who seek to destroy us.
Today, just a few hours ago, Obama gave a speech right here in good old Missouri in which he stated that attacking a military record for political purposes was unacceptable. So I'm wondering when we will hear a statement from Obama denouncing Wes Clark's statements. I won't hold my breath though, because I would surely pass out before that ever happens. I'm sure he would say he could no more denounce Wes Clark than he could denounce the man who had been his spiritual mentor for 20 years, who also just happened to claim our gov't invented HIV to kill black people.
I applaud McCain's consistent refusal to go negative as well. I am disgusted when Obama invokes the race card by "warning" his supporters that the Republicans are going to use race against him. I am disgusted when Obama throws his grandmother under the bus to justify flagrant hate speech from his pastor. I am disgusted by Obama when he babbles incessant rhetoric with no substance whatsoever.
And lets not forget his wife who is finally at long last, proud of her country - the country that afforded her opportunities undreamt of in other parts of this globe.
None of these "candidates" are really discussing issues - and sadly neither seems willing to force the debate. What we are left with is kind of a do it your self kit....
Osama - gotta be laughing at us, cause no matter which of these two get elected, he is safe. But his ability to actually harm us is dwarfed by what we seem to be willing to do to ourselves. Both of these gents see taxation as the way out of our economic woes. Both of these gents see unregulated borders as the way to increase the US economy - meanwhile sending billions overseas....
Corn, as a fuel, in anything other than a horse is a waste of food. What we lack is leadership. What we have are dudes who wish to be president - and are willing to sacrifice this country to be its last president. Wow, what a race this is.
Course, look at the feeder team - congress and our govenors....
And now, witness PBS.... they wish to say that we- the US, behaved exactly as Hitler during WWII. wow.... trash and rewrite our history... many fail to realize just how dangerous this is... we were the last hope of freedom.... and so it shall be again... but only if true leadership arises... but being a true leader - in today's world - is politically incorrect.
Sadly - the other day - I heard a "man in the street" interview. The question was "do you think that congress should vote to support public radio?" the rube answered "yes." To this the reporter asked why. and again the guy offered an answer, and it was the answer to this question that drove me crazy "because if they don't we'll have to support it with our taxes." just so much wrong with this, I cannot even begin to comprehend it...
And this guy votes.
Sorry, rambling again
Here Here...Sin's you rock! I usually agree with you! (You are so freakin smart)!!
far right radicals Revs. Hagee & Parsley...Also, in 2000, he called the late Rev. Falwell & his ilk, "agents of intolerance", then in 2005 he gave a commencement address at Falwell's Liberty University...The comments Falwell made shortly after 9/11 are every bit as awful (actually they're worse) than anything Rev. Wright said...
"So I'm wondering when we will hear a statement from Obama denouncing Wes Clark's statements"..
Wes Clark does not work for the Obama campaign, Obama and McCain are not going to denounce every single thing every one of their supporters says...
BTW, where was the outrage when veterans Max Cleland (who lost limbs in Vietnam) & John Kerry were attacked for their patriotism...Why does McCain earn a free pass, while it's perfectly ok for the Swift Boat Drunks to attack Kerry..
Oh, I forgot, as usual, St. John "of the blessed sacrament of all that is holy" McCain gets carte blanche & a complete free ride, while it's perfectly ok to attack the mean lefties....
Will the double standards ever end...

No one gets a free pass from me. I was extremely disappointed and disgusted when McCain gave the commencement address at Falwell's university. I also agree that McCain should not have accepted Hagee's endorsement. Yet an endorsement is still a far cry from warming a pew for 17 years while the pastor spits venom about white people and the United States gov't. That doesn't mean I won't vote for him, that simply means he has feet of clay just like the rest of us.
Regarding the swifties, search my posts on this board in just the last 30 days, and you will find my comments about the swift boaters. What they did was wrong, and so were the attacks on Max Cleland. I don't support EVER questioning a veteran's service for political gain, no matter what side of the aisle it is on.
Even if Obama didn't leave Wright's church (which he did), he was never going to have Rev. Wright help formulate social policy...
In other words, Obama would not let religious leaders have an influence in policy making, unlike what happened when the religious right got a hold of Bush, & Reagan before that....Remember when Bush tried to appoint Harriet Myers to the Supreme Court, that nomination was quickly derailed after religious right leaders (and some politicans, notably Sam Brownback R-KS) expressed outrage that she was not conservative enough....Another great example was back in the Reagan administration, countless dollars were wasted to have Ed Meese (attorney general) do a study on pornography (link below)...
In an Obama administration, NO religious leader will influence social policy and tell Barack Obama who he should/should not appoint to the Supreme Court....No reverand(s), no leader of "Focus on the Family", or "Family Research Council", etc....The only way the religious right and/or any type of pastor will see the White House, is like how 99% of the rest of the public sees the White House, with a guided tour ticket!....
If only that "church" was religous. It is radical politics hiding as religion. "God damn America," is what religion exactly? Inspiring grievance and racial hatred is where in the New Testament?
Church, my ass. "Church" has nothing to do with it. People will abide almost any nutty ideas in religion, but call Trinity what it is, radical leftist politics, which is why it will remain a problem for Obama.
PS-I notice you guys are pushing his time of membership down, now you tell us it was 17 yrs. Soon it will be, 'Obama went Christmas Day 1994 and left at half time.'
Actually, it was me who mentioned 17, and that is because that is how long he was an actual member of the churhc. His association with Wright began 20 years ago, and 17 years ago he formally joined the church.
"Even if Obama didn't leave Wright's church (which he did), he was never going to have Rev. Wright help formulate social policy...
In other words, Obama would not let religious leaders have an influence in policy making...
In an Obama administration, NO religious leader will influence social policy..."
-First off, every single president has relied on counsel from time to time from their own religious leaders. Billy Graham has personally met with every president since Truman, and actively urged action against Commies, among other things. He also personally counseled every president since LBJ. Every one of them. Obama is gonna be different? Don't count on it.
And yes, Obama did finally leave Wright's church, under intense pressure, after steadfastly refusing to for a long time. And McCain eventually distanced himself from an endorsement by Hagee. What's the difference? Oh right, Obama is a Dem so he gets to skate on this.
And do a little research. Miers (note the spelling) was not sunk because she wasn't conservative enough. If that was the case, the Left would have drooled over her nomination. Nobody supported her. She was unqualified. She was never a judge, but more of an inside crony than anything else. It seemed as if Bush was treating appointing a SC justice no different than appointing an ambassadorship. Are you going to claim that she should have been confirmed, but the bad conservatives blocked a great nominee?
If you go back in history just a little bit, you might recall Bork was torpedoed for SC because he was too conservative as a strict constructionist. No one claimed he was unqualified; he was a former judge, attorney general, and an anti-trust scholar. It was simply that his views on how to interpret the Const were unacceptable to the Dem Congress. That probably gets a skate from you as well.
You are being quite the hypocrite Moosie.
-- Modified on 6/30/2008 7:42:12 PM
I think we both know that the legal term strict constructioninst has become a code word conservstives use to basically mean justices who see the far right view of the world...Thus, to the far right, only Thomas, Scalia, Roberts, & Ailito are "strict constructionists"....Has there ever been a strict constructionist who says Roe should stand?....Whatever happened to stare decisis? (let the decision stand)....
Also remember, Bork was defeated 58-42, with at least 6 Republicans voting AGAINST him.....He was SOO far to the right, any Democratic senator who didn't oppose him, should have lost his seat....
"On October 23, 1987, the Senate rejected Bork's confirmation, with 42 Senators voting in favor and 58 voting against. Senators David Boren (D-OK) and Ernest Hollings (D-SC) voted in favor, with Senators John Chafee (R-RI), Bob Packwood (R-OR), Arlen Specter (R-PA), Robert Stafford (R-VT), John Warner (R-VA) and Lowell P. Weicker, Jr. (R-CT) all voting nay. The vacant seat on the court to which Bork was nominated eventually went to Judge Anthony Kennedy".
Ok, you're correct on the Miers spelling, but the reason she is not on the court today is because she was not conservative enough....Who are you kidding, if she would have said to Santorum & Brownback when they sat down (this was in 05 when Santorum was still in senate) for their meetings, that she thought Roe should be overturned, she'd be on the court today....You know damn well any justice being nominated by a Republican MUST pass the Roe litmus test...
First off, you don't know the real reasons why Miers was turned down, or how it would have been different if she had different views. You are just making it up, facts not in evidence. Bottom line, in the view of many senators (and I agree here), she was unqualified regardless of her views. She was an embarrassment as a nominee. I'll ask the same question as before ---- if the problem was simply her lack of true conservatism, then why didn't the Dems support her?
But none of that is even relevant. Suppose everything you say is the absolute truth. My main point is you are lashing out on conservatives for not supporting an SC nominee for partisan reasons, at the same time you are applauding the Dems for doing exactly that to Bork. "He was SOO far to the right, any Democratic senator who didn't oppose him, should have lost his seat". In fact, not only are you applauding them for being partisan, you are making it a requirement for re-election. Whether or not a handful of Reps did the same thing, or if a couple of Dems did not, is irrelevant to you *wanting* it done to a conservative judge.
You condemn conservatives for doing what you state the Dems must do. Hypocrite.
Brown v. Board of Education? You must've been really upset over that decision.

Barack Obama used a speech on patriotism to rebuke MoveOn.org's "General Betray Us" ad last year:
Caricatures of left and right . . . most evident during our recent debates about the war in Iraq, when those who opposed administration policy were tagged by some as unpatriotic, and a general providing his best counsel on how to move forward in Iraq was accused of betrayal.
The line was a reference to the MoveOn.org ad in advance of General Petraeus' testimony last fall.
Obama also voiced his opposition to any attacks on John McCain's patriotism:
For those like John McCain who have endured physical torment in service to our country -- no further proof of such sacrifice is necessary. And let me also add that no one should ever devalue that service, especially for the sake of a political campaign, and that goes for supporters on both sides.
Some have read the line as an implicit criticism of Obama supporter Wesley Clark's comment, in reference to John McCain's commander-in-chief credentials, that "I don't think riding in a fighter plane and getting shot down is a qualification to be president." Obama later sent out a statement saying he "rejects" Clark's comment.
that you sound like Yoda when you write?
Sorry, but I have to say it.
This post is exactly the sort pseudo-intellectual gibberish that the left thinks is grown up.
Please, please, please leave out tripe like "we immerse outselves in that power we weild over our insecurities or over the other person we're with." What does that mean? PS- Only an asshole talks about "power."
Or, "Yearned for the issues to be addressed as if we really care about the severity of our concerns." WTF. You have the nerve to say you want a grown up debate? What you really want is to sound smart, Democrat style. Even Obama couldn't make your shit sound good.
