From back before the election, and since the last discussion on how the Dems think they own the black vote just because. 😏
“If their final decision comes down to which candidate will continue the economic progress that lifted median Black household incomes to their highest levels on record and pushed Black unemployment rates and poverty rates down to their lowest levels, then there is really just one choice: President Trump.”
“Before COVID-19 severely impacted our social and economic lives, black Americans were seeing real benefits from lower taxes and lower regulation. The unemployment rate for blacks reached a record low of 5.2 percent and black labor-force participation reached 63.2 percent, the highest it had been since the 2008 recession.”
That has been taken by many people to mean he supported the racists in Charlottesville. Argue all you want about the meaning of that but over the years Trump has made many other statements considered to be coddling racists. Like when during the Presidential debate he told the Proud Boys -- an admittedly racist group -- to "stand back and stand by," as if he might call upon them. That's for sure what the Proud Boys thought, because they loved it and immediately started recruiting off it. Before that Trump FOR YEARS ran a false campaign asserting that Obama was not born in the US. Despite claiming he had evidence, he never provided any. Ultimately, during the campaign he dropped the charges. You can go back even further than that, to the Central Park Five case of 1989. Five young Black boys were unjustly accused of raping and beating a white girl. They were ultimately acquitted. But Trump bought huge newspaper ads call for the death penalty for them. Before that, the Trump organization including Donald and his father, were sued by the Federal Government and ultimately settled, for practicing discrimination against Blacks to avoid renting to them in apartments the company owned. So it's no wonder that a vast majority of Blacks, despite the fact they did so somewhat better under Trump, don't give him credit for it and will never vote for him. Looking at it only through the lens of economic benefit ignores reality.
There are many things that Joe Biden said that were more racist than Trump's comments, especially so coming from a sitting US Senator. He argued against desegregation.
Soooo where are all the racist, anti black policies Trump enacted against black people, as president? You know those policies that specifically targeted and hurt black people? You know, while he was the most powerful man on earth?
