SHOCK: REV. JESSE JACKSON SLAMS OBAMA, WANTS TO 'CUT HIS N**S OUT'... APOLOGIZES FOR 'CRUDE AND HURTFUL COMMENTS' CAUGHT ON TAPE... FOXNEWS WILL PLAY JACKSON TAPE IN ITS ENTIRETY TONIGHT ON 'O'REILLY' 8 PM ET/5 PM PT... DEVELOPING... :)

Jackson Statement: For any harm or hurt that this hot mic private conversation may have caused, I apologize. My support for Senator Obama_s campaign is wide, deep and unequivocal. I cherish this redemptive and historical moment.

_My appeal was for the moral content of his message to not only deal with the personal and moral responsibility of black males, but to deal with the collective moral responsibility of government and the public policy which would be a corrective action for the lack of good choices that often led to their irresponsibility.

_That was the context of my private conversation and it does not reflect any disparagement on my part for the historic event in which we are involved or my pride in Senator Barack Obama, who is leading it, whom I have supported by crisscrossing this nation in every level of media and audience from the beginning in absolute terms.

Collective moral responsibility of government, and public policy which would correct the lack of good choices? What the fuck does that mean? So black males abandon their wives & children at a higher percentage, have a higher unemployment rate, have a higher incarceration rate, and somehow government (us) is partially responsible and we need to fix it.

Yeah I can see this being replayed on O'Reilly. Seriously doubt it will be aired on MSNBC, CNN, NBC, CBS, ABC, Air America, etc..etc..etc.

I am surprised anyone can ever decipher what Jackson says. I have to listen to one of his comments at least 10 times just to guess what he says. There are a couple of radio personalities in So Calif (I think they are on at 8:00PM on 97.1) and they have a "guess what Jesse Jackson said" segment at least once a week. None of the callers  can ever guess what he said.

Of course the filithy animals at FOX Noise will try to make a big fucking deal out of this non-story, because that is what FOX Noise does....

The "E" Channel is a better source for news than FOX....

comment. I could care less if Jackson called Obama a  "half-cracker". It was the the following paragraph that basically differentiates a philosophical difference between a liberal and a conservative, meaning the role and responsibility of government in the lives of individuals.

Did this paragraph in anyway concern you? It implies that government can fix the problem of family abandonment, unemployment, incarceration, and other bad individual choices.

campaign in any way, so what he said today is irrevelant...I'd bet Senator Obama profoundly disagreed with Rev. Jackson's "moral responsibilty speech" today...

Senators Obama & McCain cannot take away their supporters free speech rights away, regardless of the stupidity of the remarks....

I watched the segment. The interesting point made and generally agreed to by O'Reilly's guests was if Obama wins, Jackson and Sharpton become irrelevant.

I could really give a shit what Jackson said. It pales in comparison to the recent butcher job of McCain by Bill Clinton and Wesley Clark about McCain's military service.

My whole point in this thread was the paragraph in the apology about government's role and responsibility as I mentioned earlier.

I am not so sure about "most" liberals but all the liberals I know have a job and go to work like "most" people..Can a minority of people be  most? Just where are those "most"...
Jesse is not part of any "most" crowd.. He might not have any followers tomorrow..

I don't pay attention to Jackson because he's pathetic. If he didn't say something idiotic now and then, there wouldn't be any reason to pay attention to him. His importance has sunk that low.

Whereas Rush and Hannity get paid to mouth off like Jackson every day. Pathetic for pay. It would be noteworthy if they did anything better.

FWIW I don't really care for  Rush or Hannity either. Even when I agree with them, which I do on several subjects. I still don't like them.
