I chose to pick another party

I don't recall all the riots, protests, demonstrations and violence when Obama became President-Elect 8 years ago, even though there were many on the right who were disappointed that this inexperienced, incompetent, immature, socialist would be in the White House for the next 4 or 8 years.  Anyone have an explanation?

Is it possible that those on the right have a little more class and decency than the hoodlums and thugs who have made their home on the left?

Yes, the people on the right are not cry baby, sore losers. When they lost, they pulled up their big boy pants, looked inward at what they needed to change and they tried to change it, although they ended up nominating Donald Trump. are you kidding me Donald Trump? And he won!

The people on the left are shocked that their false idol lost, so they are lashing out.

I'm surprised that more folks in our community aren't Libertarians, I don't believe in imposing my beliefs on others, so I'll simply say that if you are interested in what the the Libertarian platform is, you can do your own research.

I do believe though, that everyone is entitled to my opinion, that's probably quite obvious at this point.

...kidding?!  Or do you have a short memory?  The leaders of the GOP met in the Caucus Room Restaurant on the very day Obama was inaugurated for the first time - January 20, 2009.  Obama had not even done one thing yet but the GOP vowed to say "No" to anything Obama wanted to do, even if they agreed with it.  That's not being a sore loser?!?!  They were willing to cut off their own noses to spite their own faces simply because America elected Blackie McBlackman as President.  They weren't rioting in the streets, but GOP leadership was committing greater violence to our form of government than those protesters could do to store windows.

...when they conspired to block everything Obama wanted to do, even on things they agreed with Obama 100%?
Or was that a shining example of how "they pulled up their big boy pants?"

treating dems and libs the same way we were treated the last 8 years for the next 8

you are lucky Trump won, he is too decent a guy to give the assholes what they deserve

but, we can!

remember, payback is a bitch

enough already, time for the water cannons and rubber bullets - fucking great theater it's going to be!

but let's wait until they are done burning their own shit ;

Saying "NO" even if they agreed with it?
Go back  and read the actual  statements.
They were going to oppose  all that they
didn't agree with which was most of his
left of center policies. Plain and simple and
guess what. They were right. The GDP is
barely above 1% after eight years of Obama's
policies. Chaos in the Middle East and the worst
relations with Russia since the Cold War. How's
that for policies?

i think we should bomb the living shit out of them..and grab some pussy while we're at it..

...it seems that demonstrations aren't part of their pattern of tactics. I don't feel that's either a good thing or a bad thing, really, it just strikes me as something of interest. I've seen KKK "rallies" which were really free-speech demonstrations and am aware of period American Nazi Party demonstrations, but these are extremist groups and haven't really been representative of most co set active people. And until recently, not associated with right-wing political leaders.

Maybe this stems from progressive agendas like the Sufferage Movement and of course the Civik Rights, Anti-Draft and Anti-War Movements. And of course Labor strikes. But since there are plenty of "groups" that could organize for demonstrations, like the T-Party, not much ever comes of that.

The T-Party DID hold protests in 2008, but they were mostly just big gettogethers maybe designed to sign up new members, but not really marches or demonstrations. The T-Party focused more on running people for school boards, aldermen, state legislators, etc. Tactics groups like the Green Party very seldom employ much to their disadvantage. It's like the left sees running for local or Municipal offices like small potatoes and the right sees demonstrating in the street as ineffective.

Again, that's not a criticism either way, just interesting to think about. Thanks for mentioning it.

Go back to occupying Wall Street.

It sends a louder message than being anti Trump.

Plus Wall Street won't put up with the stupidity this time.
