Secondarily, if the relationship is no more than a professional one, why would the relationship matter.

Having grown up in the 60's and 70’s I know very well. I quite easily understand how the likes of Ayers and the Weathermen came to be and evolved.
Understanding him does not allow for excusing his behavior.

Show the proof that the relationship was more that Obama stated. Since there has not been, I can only assume that there isn't any evidence to support otherwise.

Forget it. It's not going to gain Repubs vote no matter how many times they say this or recycle it.
