Admittedly, these are things I care about. But none compare to getting our nation into a war, as far as the significance of the impact.
these politicians have far more direct impact on most of our lives than Bush or Kerry ever could. Yet few Americans if any can name their city council members, county commissioners, state senators and represenatives. Most don't even know we HAVE state senates and reps....and these people get to vote??
