But if you get 24 million people to select a particular form of coverage, many of whom previously had no coverage at all, it's amazing when ChicKie runs that down. 1. Some Employers stopped offering coverages when the ACA came about. It forced people to enter the pool.
2. It made coverages "drop"....ie: you got less coverage.
3. Your deductibles sky rocketed.
4. What have premiums done since the ACA? Sky rocketed. I had $1000 deductible and my premium was $200 a month prior to ACA. Yes I am older now but it was passed in 2010 and was fully implemented in 2014. So 12 years!!! My premiums are $700 a month with a $7500 deductible. My co-pay is now 70/30 where before it was 80/20. These are just the major changes to out-of-pocket expenses. I don't have enough time to tell you how the coverages have decreased in other areas.
5. Forgetting about how it was ILLEGAL to force people to have insurance or pay a fine.
6. Wont go into how it gave the Medical Industry an open door to "steal" or charge pretty much what they want.
7. Wont go into the LIE of 30,000.000 people were uninsured.... Or was it 20 million or was it 50 million. You know the numbers that kept getting thrown out.... ie: Lies. This actually proves it when you say AT ITS PEAK 24 Million are enrolled now. Many of whom were kicked off employer insurances and forced to go into the "pool".
NOW I WILL SAY... there was some good in the ACA. The making sure premiums actually balance at the end. IE: If your company charged too much to the "pool" you fell in with rates. They give a "kick back" or unused premium. It was a nice check and balance. BUT that also goes into open door to charge more. The pre-existing conditions provision was good. Plus some others.
BUT AGAIN..... people keep trying to re-write history on the ACA. It got rammed down our throats and now we are paying the price...Literally.
the ACA requires government subsidies to exist at all. It means that some of MY tax dollars are going to make it more affordable for people I don't even know. Why can't I just take care of myself, and others take care of themselves? This is just wealth redistribution, which is Socialism in its purest form. Is that really where mainstream Dems want to end up, or are they just too ignorant to see what's coming if they keep following the Progressives?

The average income in the USA for single person google says is $48K..... but the "real number" is $60-70K.... Look at the tax brackets. If the BBB wasn't passed they would be paying 25% in federal tax..... with the BBB they are paying 22%. So a 3% savings..... is that the evil "1%" the dems say only got the tax breaks????
