To secure the gas supply for this winter, there must be a storage level of 95% by 1 November. The total storage level in Germany is 94.56%.
Gas consumption in the week beginning 11 September 2023 was 24.7% below the average consumption for 2018 to 2021 and down by 0.4% compared with the week before.
Wholesale prices have increased slightly in the last few weeks. Businesses and private consumers must continue to adapt to fluctuating prices and a higher price level."
