I think her firing raises a few questions, besides the obvious one, Why did NBC hire her in the first place? They had to know what a bad fit she was going to be with the ultra-liberals she was going to have to work with.
That said, were her latest comments really THAT bad? It's not like Megyn herself came out in blackface or said anything even the least bit denigrating towards black people. All she did is question whether or not someone else was being racist by darkening her skin a bit to more closely resemble Diana Ross who was not being ridiculed, but being honored. I mean just how sensitive have we become? I've seen White people dressed up with slanted eyes and talking in ridiculous "ching chong" accents on tv numerous times and while I found them rather boorish it didn't make me want to have them fired.
Oh well, while I am no Megyn Kelly fan, I do find it ironic that she won't only be getting 69 million bucks out of the deal, but this is going to free her up to cover the 2020 Election cycle which will be starting up almost immediately after the midterms, which is what she wanted all along. I do agree with you about Megyn Kelly and her appeal, or lack thereof. I am no more attracted to her than I am Stormy Daniels, but I love the way she is standing her ground and WINNING against NBC. I also wouldn't bet against her getting another big payday, people LOVE controversy, and Megyn Kelly is nothing if not controversial. I never watched her show even once on NBC and it was only by accident that I would catch her for a few minutes on Fox and it's highly unlikely that I will EVER tune in just to watch any show she is in, but I love the way she has played NBC for the fools that they are.
Megyn Kelly may be many things, but dumb is not one of them, and I guarantee you that just like a "40 yo hooker" you most certainly have not heard the last from her and she is going to be a very well paid 40 yo hooker to boot.
