I wonder if this came out because of Bob Menendez.

some of whom are still in government.

Morgan Ortagus, former State Dept spokesperson:
There’s no two ways around this: top Obama and Biden officials were a part of a foreign influence operation by the Iranian regime, some of who are still in govt holding security clearances.

This comes on top of the news that Rob Malley, Biden’s Iran envoy, had to leave his position over his security clearance being revoked
This should be the scandal of a generation: the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism appears to have co-opted senior officials of the last two democratic administrations, with the purpose and achieved goal of influencing our foreign policy.

Josh Kraushaar, Editor in Chief for Jewish Insider:
“In the spring of 2014, senior Iranian Foreign Ministry officials initiated a quiet effort to bolster Tehran’s image and positions on global security issues — particularly its nuclear program — by building ties with a network of influential overseas academics and researchers. They called it the Iran Experts Initiative…

The officials, working under the moderate President Hassan Rouhani, congratulated themselves on the impact of the initiative: At least three of the people on the Foreign Ministry’s list were, or became, top aides to Robert Malley, the Biden administration’s special envoy on Iran, who was placed on leave this June following the suspension of his security clearance.”

from Wikipedia: "In March 2023, Semafor launched its "China and Global Business Initiative," a collaboration with the Center for China and Globalization (CCG), a think tank founded by the United Front Work Department, a propaganda and foreign influence organization of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party.[19] Semafor has said the project's purpose is to offer a "diversity of opinion" and "an alternative to Washington's 'hawkish' consensus on Beijing".[37] The initiative would consist of regular events in New York and Beijing and would foster dialogue between business leaders amid increasing China–U.S. tensions.[38]

Semafor's partnership with the CCG has occasionally come under scrutiny due to the latter's opaque relationship with the Chinese Communist Party, especially its history of misleading the public about its ties to the party.[37][19] Semafor CEO Justin Smith said Semafor would go into the collaboration with "eyes wide open" and that it was under no "illusion that Chinese business leaders or other local groups operate independently of the Chinese Communist Party." Smith also said Semafor would retain editorial independence and full ownership of the project.[19] Nevertheless, the project has been periodically criticized, especially by U.S. conservative commentators like The Washington Free Beacon and Diana Furchtgott-Roth.[37]

The project's advisory board contains both U.S. and Chinese business leaders and academics,[39][non-primary source needed] including several influential members of the Chinese Communist party and former Chinese government officials, including Zeng Yuqun, the chairman of CATL who is also a member of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference,[37] and Wang Huiyao, one of the developers of the controversial Thousand Talents program.[19][37] Other advisors include Chen Deming, a former Minister of Commerce; Cui Tiankai, a former ambassador of China to the U.S.; Zeng Yuqun, the founder and chair of CATL who serves as member of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce as well as the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference; and Zhou Xiaochuan, a former governor of People's Bank of China.[37] U.S. board members include Jessica Chen Weiss, a foreign relations expert at Cornell University; Jerry Yang, co-founder of Yahoo!; and David Rubenstein, an investor.[39]"
Question: Does ChickenShit ever check his sources?

It wouldn’t hurt Nicky to read the well researched and balanced article (providing thorough counterpoints) before casting aspersions on the “source”.

Jay Solomon is the global security editor at Semafor and the former chief foreign affairs correspondent for The Wall Street Journal. He’s the author of The Iran Wars.

WASHINGTON, Aug 15 (Reuters) - Former Wall Street Journal reporter Jay Solomon has ended his lawsuit against Dechert LLP and two of its former partners, saying in a filing made public late on Monday that he was voluntarily dismissing his claims against the law firm.

Solomon sued Dechert and several others last year, alleging that the Philadelphia-based firm worked with hackers from India to steal emails between him and one of his key sources.

While we’re here, for Civil War history buffs, an interesting article by Solomon about the US hunt for the Jewish Confederate spy chief.
The Hunt for Judah P. Benjamin, the Spy Chief of the Confederacy
Suspected of orchestrating the Lincoln assassination, the South’s most prominent Jew escaped to London to start a new life as a high-powered lawyer. The U.S. government secretly tried to bring him home to face justice

And I found what I found. So interesting that you made no effort to rebut what Wiki says about it. And, by the way, what the hell does Solomon's book about Benjamin have to do with anything?
PS: Benjamin was not merely "the Spy Chief of the Confederacy." He served as Attorney General, Secretary of War and Secretary of State. His activity as spy chief was incidental to his position as Sec. of State.
So as usual, chickie exaggerates.

CNN (those wild-eyed liberals) had John Bolton on to discuss the Semafor article and he says it's an extremely significant and troubling situation. I'm not a Bolton fan but he does have some credibility.

He has a very odd concept of what it means to surrender. I simply reported what Bolton said and acknowledged it was credible. Naturally, being a complete political hack, Chickenshit distorted what I said.
HE EVEN USED THE WRONG GIF!!! LOLOL!!!
That gif is from the movie "A Bridge Too Far" and the German is NOT surrendering. He has approached the British under a flag of truce to ask THEM to surrender.
Maybe Chickenshit should admit he's not smart enough to correctly use gifs and retreat into his usual political hackery?

Nicky denies he surrendered, when his surrender Post shows how off the mark he was with his previous post.

Maybe the old man should stick to being the forum grammar Nazi.
