The Soviets..sorry the Russians are up to their old tricks again.  What do you think would have happened if Georgia was already in NATO?  I don't think that Russia will allow them to join. That may be part of the reason for this action.

I have been following this story on CNN today from home. Its certainly scary to hear about and its even more scary to think about the innocent people who are in danger right now in that part of the world

The State Department recommends Americans should leave Georgia.

I wonder what percentage of Americans thought that they meant the stae north of Florida and south of South Carolina?

I would say that at least 5-10%, had that thought after reading it.

How sad though!
