I think that was very even handed of you.

If I recall correctly, I called it a home run strictly on the basis of Palin being a woman and the governor of a state. I have since taken those words back a thousand times after what a fruit loop she was/is was revealed. I've got 40,000 posts on the various TER boards AND I drink, and drink a LOT, "some" of my posts are bound to look rather dumb in hindsight. Your evenhandedness in putting this in context is appreciated.

Forget about her being a third term of Barrack Obama, forget about all the things she would do to fuck up this country, Forget about politics completely.  

Does her voice have the same effect on anyone else that it does for me? Just hearing the sound of her voice makes me angry, I don't know what it is, but I just can not for the life of me stand the sound of her voice. Is it just me, or does anyone else feel relieved that we won't have to be listening to that horrible voice for the next four years?

would get up and leave the room. Happened more than once.  It crossed my mind to record her voice and then play it outdoors to scare away animals.  I'm sure it would have worked.  However, the down side would have been all the bullet holes in my homes siding.

...Bubba's either. Next up though will be Chelsea's when they try to get her elected in NY, because it's all about money, power and influence with the Clinton clan. And without influence "donations" to their money laundering op (Clinton Foundation) will dry up.

But Trump really grates on me, especially his mannerisms like "bigly," and his meaningless punctuation phrases like, "that I can tell you," and "you can believe me." Honestly, Donnie, no, I don't believe you.
I will be among the millions not listening to his inauguration speech.  I don't need to.  I've been promised an advance copy by its author, Steve Bannon.

a feeling that 4 years from now the DEMs will still not have figured out why they lost. But then with Nancy P in charge I would not worry much   HA!!!!!
