With all the vitriol that's exchanged on this forum, I thought it might be time for a do good, feel good story just to remind us of what it means to be a part of humanity.

a first class passenger on the same flight missed a meeting to close a deal because of it.

why does it have to be a 'first class passenger' that misses a deal?  And 'missing a deal' is worse than missing saying goodbye to a DYING mother?  You fucking filthy maga traitor cunts are too ignorant for words.  And now we know you discriminate based on socio-economic status.  Like we didn't already know.

Maybe the imaginary business passenger ALSO needed to make the connecting flight to close a deal and they ONLY made the connecting flight (which was only delayed 30 minutes - not uncommon for flights to be delayed 30 minutes for MANY reasons: need to restock the pantry; backups on the runways; drunk pilot needing to sober up; etc.) because of Delta's kindness to the grieving daughter. Maybe she or he would have LOST their deal if they had to wait until the following day to make the next flight to their destination.
.
Put another way, the ORIGINAL flight was delayed many HOURS because of mechanical issues. The CONNECTING flight was only delayed for 30 minutes to wait for connecting passengers to get on board.

It's a given in airline travel that passengers should expect delays for various reasons, typically adverse weather or mechanical issues, and ought to take that into account when making their plans. That "first class" passenger should either have scheduled to arrive the day before or taken a private / corporate jet the morning of the closing.  And being a "first class" passenger shouldn't hold any more sway than someone flying business class or coach. All it means is you have a larger seat, board/exit earlier, and maybe eat a tastier meal.

It's notable to see that Nicky, who knows me better than most here, would not take the bait.  Lol
