The National Policy Institute met for their annual conference Sunday.  They didn't meet in Bumfuck, Nebraska as one would expect for such a fringe group.  Instead, they met at the Ronald Reagan Building in Washington, D.C.

The NPI describes itself as “an independent organization dedicated to the heritage, identity, and future of people of European descent in the United States, and around the world.”  The president of NPI is Richard B. Spencer and he also popularized the term "alt right."  To use Trump's favorite words, "I hear" Spencer will be a top aide to Steve Bannon.

It’s nice to see young people getting involved in politics. I’m sure these are very nice young men. And, just because the PE, Trumps, entire campaign platform served as a long wished-for sirens song out to every neo-nazi sociopath out there is no reason to assume the new Trump/Bannon team has deliberately stoked that fire---or, is continuing to do that.

Just the other day Bannon took a break from his busy schedule of using his evil powers for evil to comment on the crazy allegations about any connection to these nutball alt-right guys--- by assuring the American public that darkness is good---like Darth Vader and Satan, and all that. It really is better if we don’t question what they’re doing.

Don’t be alarmed by the propagandist tactics right out of Geobbels playbook---as Trumps says: there are some really good ideas in Mein Kampf.

We just need to relax and give these guys a fair chance.  When it starts to get really, really weird, THEN we should worry

Do you get upset when the Communist Party of America rejoices over Dem victories? See how anyone can play this silly game?

Sorry BP but you can't control people who support you. You are only responsible for people/things you support.

And see what you did to Plants? She is now in full froth mode from your dumbass post. Don't do that to her. She said she was trying so hard to to be fair to "T." LOL

I would try and tell you that Nazi comparisons trivialize the holocaust, but something tells you won't care or you won't understand that point, so I won't bother.

Don't forget though...Love trumps hate! LOL

He said that so many of the people in pivotal states were just disappointed in the Democrats policies. He pointed out that these were the same people who voted for Obama in 2008 and 2012. Hardly a racist mentality. And if you want to discuss racism, what do you have to say about Obama using the "Reverend" Wright for as long as he could in Chicago politics. Do you really believe that he had no idea as to Wright's anti white, anti America comments? C'mon, be honest!

I see an upcoming administration calling for a requirement for United States citizens to register with the government, *based on their religion*. I see many trump supporters cheering this idea on---while, seemingly ignoring the horrific historical parallels.

A failure to recognize trump/bannons use of propagandist techniques to deliberately stir-up xenophobia--- techniques that ring directly back to the very same techniques used by hitler/goebbels, IMO, is dangerously naïve.

Feel free to keep ignoring the signs right in front of you. Feel free to keep apologizing for these guys. Feel free to tell me you think I’m completely wrong.  You have every right to do any of those things.

But do not tell me I am trivializing the holocaust. For that---fuck you

I will let the ADL do it:

“It has become too common to use comparisons to the Holocaust and Nazi imagery to attack people with opposing views, whether the issue is global warming, immigration or health care. The six million Jewish victims and millions of other victims of Hitler deserve better.  Their deaths should not be used for political points or sloganeering.  This type of comparison diminishes and trivializes the Holocaust. There is no place for it in civil discussions. However heated the debate over issues of the day, we would urge you to refrain from using Holocaust imagery in the future.”

What's next out of you tonite? Gonna say "fuck you" to the ADL too?

You are becoming, or have become already, what you claim to hate HP.

...Dem victories?  Or did you pull that out of your ass like you usually do?  While you're at it, find a link where the Communist Party rejoiced over a Dem victory at The Ronald Reagan Building in Washington, D.C.

You can't control the people who support you, but you sure as hell are responsible for the people you hire.  Steve Bannon, Trump's Chief Strategist, openly bragged that under his leadership he transformed Breitbart into "the platform of the alt-right movement."

http://www.nydailynews.com/news/politics/king-alt-right-full-nazi-bannon-lands-white-house-job-article-1.2882385

Under Bannon, Breibart also said "Richard Spencer is one of the leading “intellectuals” of the alt-right movement."

Do you agree with Bannon, Jack?  Do you think Trump should retain Bannon as his Chief Strategist?

you linked this:
August 24, 2015
The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) today denounced remarks by OK Café owner Susan DeRose who compared Senator Vincent Fort to a Nazi as reported by a story on WXIA.

I agree with that statement.

But we're talking about Trump..and, specifically, his call for a Muslim registry. Do you think it's perfectly fine that T has called for Muslims to register with the state? You don't see any problem with that? You can't see any historical parallel? This doesn't bother you in the least?

being able to recognize that trump/bannon deliberately utilized propaganda  techniques---that echo directly back to 1930's germany---to fire-up extreme xenophobia---is not tantamount to me "trivializing the Holocaust".

Lost your job? Blame the Mexican criminals and rapists'. Build a wall!! (or...maybe a fence?....or...jesus! how much will that cost?). Afraid of terrorism? let's round-up and register people of the Muslim faith (while we conveniently overlook that fact that the majority of domestic terrorism has been executed by American citizens). Claim a victory by announcing he saved a Ford factory that was never slated to move to mexico in the first place. Climate change? It's a hoax created by the Chinese (and the Chinese scratch their heads) to justify rolling back environmental regulations to facilitate building more coal plants---while failing to mention that the building "clean coal" plants is not actually economically viable.

The list of Trumps lies and diversions, intended to stir-up this new alt-right "nationalism" is too long to list. And when he's caught red-handed in a lie he says: I didn't say that.

The fact that a registry of people based on their religion might pass constitutional muster is not the fucking point. Yes. Trump might actually get away with this. That does not make it right

In that same vein, you are attacking him on every point BEFORE we see any written legislation from his admin.

But for fks sake plants, it was Libs who DIDNT read the ACA who told us how GREAT it was and now it is Libs telling us how much Trumps policies SUCK without reading them as well, because, ummmm...

THYE HAVET BEEN WRITTEN YET! lol

So calm down and we can argue about all this when he puts pen to paper. Drink some wine and chill. lol

Thank you so much for a great display of your ignorance!
