He’s been an absolutely amazing governor for Florida. But he is an astonishingly bad campaigner. That is not something I expected. I did know that Trump was a really good campaigner, but this campaign was far stronger than the one he ran in 2016. In the future we will look back on Trump’s 2024 campaign in awe, in how he completely rewrote the book on how campaigns are done.

Once Biden dropped out Trump fell apart. And he's gotten weaker as the campaign draws to a close. His Madison Square Garden event was awful and offended Latinos. In recent days he's seemed tired, unfocused and frustrated. His events have been poorly attended with lots of people leaving.  
By contrast, Harris is closing strongly and her SNL bit with Maya Rudolf was great. She hardly mentions Trump and is high energy and upbeat. It appears the late-deciders are breaking her way.
I'm still not making any predictions but I'm feeling optimistic.
