Did you ever see the movie "The Ten Commandments" (1956)?  Moses went up on Mount Sinai to receive the Ten Commandments.  God carved them out of the stone in the mountain with lightning bolts.  Here's the scene:

Well, He's baaa-aaack!  God sent a sign that he's backing Trump's views on immigration.  He fired a lightning bolt to erase Emma Lazarus's words from the pedestal on which the Statue of Liberty stands:

 
 "Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me."
